I am not sure you know about what is sacred and what is not inregards to LDS thought but the walk way is not sacred and they were not on the Temple steps. I do get why she said-couples there kissing and holding hands- But what she has to realize it that the church owns that area. It is sacred ground where those who are members can go and do baptism and be wedded for all eternity.

Yes, this was a private property rights law arrest. No, this is not a property laws issue. This is a civil rights issue. Was the couple asked to leave because security legitimately believed them to be intoxicated? I don't believe that to be a possibility. No, I don't know. No, I don't have all the facts. Were they intoxicated? In all probability, yes. I was visibly intoxicated after the Bon Iver concert. I was just lucky enough not to get accosted for kissing someone.
