do you know of an 8 channel op amp? I'll search. also, would I put a variable reistor after the final capacitor or before, in order to control the output volume to the speaker? Or headphone?

I suppose I could use each of the 4 channels for each mic and then use 2 op amps. so I could I switch between channels? thanks.

Why don't I need a preamp? How can I do this with 8 mono electret mics? great video. wish there were more like this on youtube. Love how you explain things. thank you.
