Daaannng, I had never even considered the idea of a Thief movie. Man, that would be awesome! Would love to see the City brought to life in all its steampunk glory. The problem is Garret, though...who could they get that would live up to Stephen Russell's voice acting for Garrett? I shudder at the thought of christian bale's sad attempt at a tough guy voice. Garret's actor would ghave to be just perfect to make it work.

There was a mistake in your video in the part of "a friend returns" - garret has no friends , no alleys and even the keepers were trying to kill him but this is a great video.

And yes, you are right about Garrett having no friends, however, Garrett and Viktoria fought for the same cause, and therefore became close and thief fans commonly class her as Garretts only aquaintance/friend.

Plus, he was VERY sad to have lost her ;D

@ruben11450 Viktoria is in Thief 1 and 2. Thief 3 departs quite a lot from the feel and story hooks of the first two games and is considered by most fans to be the worst of the series. Though it does have some very good moments (i.e. The Cradle).

A real Thief movie based on the games would be quite good. They wouldn't have to use any animation, they can recreate the "Thief" feel if the creator is.. umm, creative enough. These days move movies based on things fail to live up to the originals. By the way, I would vote Vincent Ventressca (I spelled his last name wrong, but you can see him in "I-man" - "The Invisible Man"- He has the voice for it, and has played cynical characters before (and really goofy ones).
