There are two types of macedonians Slav and Greek Slavs prety much ocuppy modern macedonia (country) and greeks are now in the state of macedonia (part of Greece) They fight eachother of land and claims of Alexander the Great. Slavs came in the 6-7 Century AD in to what is macedonia and rest of the balkans such as ex-yugoslavia and bulgaria.
