I was on board a BA Boeing 747 from London to Mexico City a while back. someone was reported smoking in one of the loos at the back of the plane. The Cabin Crew went beserk. They stormed down the aircraft and hammered on the door like the Flying Squad. Forgive the pun !

That was a strange routing out of AGP - passing back to the east of the airfield and then turning back inland - I certainly haven't flown that before!!!

@knaphilllee Yes it was strange, you are the first person to notice that ! Ironically I flew back from Malaga last night and again took off on runway 31. This time it flew as the crow flys up to madrid.

@andywhite2404 I have flown this strange route many times aswell, I find it always a little bit more turbulent due to the low pressure from the sea! I fly AGP every month and about 45% of the time, its this route! :)

It is not a strange departure from AGP. The routing followed by the pilot is exactly the standard departure published by the aeronautical authorities. Normally, after take off is possible to get a "shorcut" flying direct to Bailen (BLN) when making the initial turn, but this time maybe due to traffic the pilot was instructed by the air traffic controller to follow the Standard Departure.

easyjet is as crap as people want to make it, you arrive late you pay the price, you arrive at the time they say, check in etc then all goes brill.

have flown with them numerous times, fantastic crews, rarely late, very often early if on last flight back to Bristol from places, at end of day, flight crew have homes to go to as well

YES!! THATS BEEN MY FAMILY HOLIDAY FOR 11 YEARS!! I CANT WAIT 4 DIS YEAR but i dont fly with easyjet because i live in dublin and they dont do flight there :( but i fly with aer lingus who are nice too

I also think low cost airlines are the way to go - all you miss out on is bad food anyway....not really a big deal on a short flight - which is very cheap compared to most airlines

easyjet are a great company... I am dying to become an A319/320 pilot cos they are just some amazing planes. You wouldn't believe the amount of computers and technology that goes in to an airbus!

the most impressive things aboard the airbus are the following... the autotrim, which is a lifesaver compared to other non auto-trimming aircraft and the nonmoving thrust leavers when you have A/T engaged.. if you leave either toga, MCT/flex or CLB engaged, they stay there! tis slightly confusing hehe
