if you like Paradise Lost check out Foundation And Empire's new album Untitled One. just go to myspace music and look up Foundation And Empire, then click on Artists, and they are the Foundation And Empire from Minneapolis MN. the entire album is there. check it out! and every track is different so don't be like some people and only listen to one or two tracks.
@queenmcsleaze Indeed it was; I had that in the house untill only a few weeks ago. I remember listening to it all the time when I got it. While I'm not mad about the song, it brings back good memories for me.
@creationbassist i wonder who thumbed up the metal-hammer-sampler comment - or if they like you and i know that magazine went downhill i'm gonna guess around the time robyn dorian (so i think she was called) left. oh and things like dani's inferno. why did you have the cd all this time but no longer? i aint mean to call you out, rather i'm curious
@queenmcsleaze I thumbed it up. I found the CD when I was clearing out some old stuff I had. I tried to play it and it didn't work so I threw it out. I haven't read Metal Hammer in years, mainly because they haven't had any bands that I like in it. I used read it when Val Yum (?), Dani Filth and Tarrie B from Tura Satana / My Ruin wrote columns for it and Motorhead got the occasional feature. That's all in Classic Rock now though and MH, it seems is for the teeny bopper metallers.
They're kinda like Poets of the Fall--good range of music, but not very widely known outside of their homeland.

@RainyDayGirlx Here, in Greece, they are not underrated! They have many fans and they visit us every year..!! The same for Anathema as well!
We love them! :-)

Great Song... i like Paradise Lost and their soft metal. Very good lyrics too!

Good song with an obvious borrow from The Cure 's "A Forest" ( synths chord progession on the intro ).

@condemned75 its probably prey, just listen to "in all honesty" ... i doubt they would use the word pray in any positive manner
SuperZloBo 3 months ago
Isn't it 'pray' though, and not 'prey'? I need to know as it drastically changes the context of the chorus - lol. ;)

@condemned75 its pray not prey

First song of theirs I ever heard. It was on a free CD being given out at the Krazy House in Liverpool.
