I hate to seem like a dope, but I don't quite get how one goes about programming a path for a drag knife, given that the point is off-center from the spindle. If I want to cut a 1" square, I can imagine leading-in the cut from a point outside the square. But what happens when you get to that first 90 degree corner? Doesn't the knife take a "shortcut" across that corner? How do you end up with a SQUARE square?
Bottom line, can anybody point me to a clear "drag knife intro for the thick-headed"?
