  • I totally agree if she become the next emperor even there is prince hisahito but come'on that isnt fair for her,i mean shes the daughter of crown prince...what matter with girl or boy..girl can be a leader too not just boy, maybe better leader...why they don't wanna try first...right???

  • To make daughter's aiko an emperor, Crown Princess masako is boycotting her work for a long time.

And, parents of Crown Princess masako who has political power in Japan are plotting to make his grandchild an emperor.

Masako refuses meeting of aiko the emperor, and Japanese begin to worry that aiko has not received the education as the princess.

The emperor is destroying the physical condition by the stress by the problem

    that this masako caused now.

  • thx for that information =D

hey if there is a chance, what ll u choose, aiko or hisahito?

  • Prince hisahito. Of course,

Recently, it is being discussed whether Crown Prince or prince Akishino is

    suitable for the emperor.

The qualification that becomes an emperor is doubted to Crown Prince and the

    princess masako.

  • but i think princess aiko is quite and shy but shes good gurl...

  • the whole point of having a boy become the emperor is to preserve paternal bloodline of the empire family. The current emperor carries the same Y chromosome that was carried by the emperor more than 1000 years ago. If a girl becomes the emperor, then that line is discontinued. It really has nothing to do with sexism, despite what the media likes to say...

  • But what about the slowly tightening gene pool?. If to preserve the 1000 years Y chromosome &preserving tradition for having male as highest Shinto Priest is the paramount of him becoming an emperor, What about the security of preserving the royal family's existence in itself?. He (&his future decendant)will be the only one left in the palace someday. &since there're no other male members, there'll be no extended branch, like Akishino/Takamado.

  • so genetically, males have the XY sex chromosomes whereas the females have XX sex chromosomes. When a boy is born, he will have the X-chromosome from his mother and the Y-chromosome from his father. When that boy grows up and fathers a son, he will pass that same Y-chromosome to his son. Then that son will pass the same Y-chromosome to his son.

  • This passage of the same Y-chromosome from male to male in each generation is referred to as the 'paternal bloodline'. And to preserve the paternal bloodline in the empire family, we want to have the male heir take the throne and pass the Y-chromosome to his son, who will eventually become an emperor and pass the same Y-chromosome to his son, who will become the emperor.

  • The emperors marry outside of their family (like Emperor Akihito, the current emperor of Japan, married a 'commoner', Michiko Shoda, who is now Empress Michiko) so there are new X chromosomes coming into the family at each generation.

  • Preserving the Y-chromosome does not mean not having the emperors marry anyone or not having any females in the empire family at all (is that what you meant in your post by He (&his future decendant)will be the only one left in the palace someday?) Please look up "Sex determination and differentiation (human)" on wikipedia for more info!

  • its totally true

  • PRINCESS AIKO IS ADORABLE

  • わらわwww拙者wwww

    早くも大者の予感wwwww

  • She is cute. May God bless her entire life.

  • I totally agree, she is 100% cute/Kawai! I do not know if this is a birthday tradition, milestone or just for the press. I do not know how old she is, but she has amazing patience with the press and getting dressed up.

  • @florapikachu This is a birthday ceremony, more specifically called "shichigosan" which mean seven, five, three. Or so, ages that are considerated fortuned or auspicious to every child in Japan. HHR is 5 y/o in this video. She is using special dress of the heian era (794 to 1185). A imperial shichigosan!!!

  • princess aiko is always so cute!! <3333
