just got it. its like you lock on to an enemy and click your magic shield or sword etc and hits them with different attacks depending on your skill level and character. its really simple and when you start getting farther you get cooler attacks as seen in this trailer. just got the game and i have been playing it all night. wish i didn't work in 4 hours. haha. story is good so far. i am hoping that the story will be the first good one in quite some time. ff6 being the best.

what are you talking about? all bioware games but mass effect use a D&D style dice based turn system. thats why they are called turn based role playing games... but its different from the Final Fantasy style where you hit, and then wait, and then he hits, and then waits. its much more seamless, and real time.

It seems most people who hate this game aren't those who like real single-player roleplaying games.

As much as you try to convince me Oblivion / Fallout 3 is a roleplaying game, I can be a holy crusader that serves a dark god or a douche. Then, after slaughtering everybody, I can be forgiven and nobody will treat me differently. My choices don't impact Oblivion/Fallout's world the least. Fallout had minor changes though.

I have hopes in Dragon Age that if I kill a fly, cities will burn.
