I don't what you did, but did you almost sing the first verse when it goes et te parle d'amour. It looks like you almost the first verse which starts on the & of 4 instead of beat 2. Maybe I'm not explaining well, I Just wondered and It doesn't even matter, good job :)
Perhaps I did. It is a live recording so I can't just fix mistakes. It was also my first complete recital. So definitely I made many mistakes worrying about memorizing all 29 songs and arias.
Whenever there is secondary dominant(retonicizing the tonic on the ascending lines)like on "te souriront dans", the 3rd beat (where the dominant occurs) is very flat
I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to sound rude, I was just trying to accurately diagnose what was happening. I'm singing this song tomorrow at a voice competition, and I'm trying to get better!
french and intonation need work. The notes sung on "vermeil" are wrong, its a half step. the sound swallowed "reseau". She tends not to support the ascending lines and shrink on the way up. The hands are distracting
the dress shows too much skin. good memorization, not so good pronunciation. "bruissent a la fois" needs to be worked out. "Endormi dans le bois" or somthing she goes too low on "dans"... after the Lamour part when it changes harmonically from the lowered 6th to the 6/4 of the tonic, the high notes are too accented and un-supported.
It is al little bit off tune...
