I think they don't play songs like The Grudge and stuff anymore cause maynard can't pull of the screams anymore and he doesnt want to ruin the song.

i gotta admit it took awhile for this song to grow on me but ever since i saw it live in 07, ive had a completely new respect for it. and seeing it again in 09 has cemented it that it is one of the best songs on 10k days. a lot of people may diss 10k days but i really think it was a good album. and i am a HUGE fan of undertow, aenima and lateralus (not dissing opiate, just theyve evolved so much in their music)

seriously this song live fucking kicks so much ass. GOD i wanna see them again...

i have to agree with soma. tool rocks - but for them this was an average show. this was thier usual 10k days set minus 2 songs. i wish they filled the time better. still a good show, maynard sounded and moved 10x better than the show i saw the night after in NH. for you 1st timers - enjoy, they still know how to kick ass when they want to.

Ok i really am not trying to start an argument but really cment08? theyve played this every show since 10k days came out, i just want to know if im the only one not blind by how lazy and or corporate they ve become, every show since they did this tour three years ago its been the same damn songs minus two, im the biggest fan there is but its ridiculous how they're treating their fans

You're absoutley right. They've got lazy and its really ashame always the same set list. I saw them a few times in 07 and this show was literally the exact same thing.

Thank you. its really hard for me to say especially being a musician and everything and i dont usually do this but im going to and i urge everyone to copy/download tools next cd. Dont give these guys anymore money, the ppl who argue with me are right they can play whatever they want but they know what their real fans want to hear and if your like me and wasted over $300 to see them the last two times then they dont deserve our money, theyre not retarded they know what we want to hear.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no doubt, but to boycott Tool because they didn't play the songs you wanted to hear? Come on. How about some appreciation for a real group of artists who actually produce some music with real substance. To see these guys live (no matter what songs they play), is an amazing experience in itself. If you don't appreciate what they put into these songs maybe you should have made the concious decision not to "waste" your money twice. Nothing seems to satisfy.

I didnt say anything about boycotting them, i just said dont give them more of your money on their next cd which Maynard makes a huge deal out of ppl not paying and downloading them, so i say download it. Yes it is my fault for going, but thats what happens when your a hardcore fan, theres that shred of hope that they ll play one different song, and no i didnt expect the last three concerts of theirs that i went to,3 different years to be exactly the same,actually minus two songs.

That was my fourth time but third since 10k days came out, saw them in la in 07 i think it was, 08 in san fran and the show at the molson amphitheatre during this tour. It was pretty much the exact same every time which is just embarassing, depends on how the naxt album is and what their set is like, if its the usual stinkfist, 46&2, lateralus, vicarious, another 10k days song and a few new ones than no i wont waste my money, even if they just threw in a eulogy,h, the grudge anything id be happy

even though they don't play my favorite songs of theirs, i always enjoy the fuck out of a tool show regardless. the energy the band puts out is second to none. "don't give these guys any more money." what the..? you'd be hard pressed to find a band with as much artistic integrity and substance as this band. their album artwork production costs enough that they lose money printing them. sure the setlist may leave a bit to be desired, but their performance doesn't, nor the live experience.

No their live show does lose alot by seeing the same thing three years straight. I always loved their live performances but its not the same since the lat. tour. If you're playing the same songs over and over there is no heart, thats coming from a musicians point of view.Ive seen them four times first time was when lateralus came out is what the best thing ive ever seen, the last 3 were the same thats just laziness and not caring about the ppl who put you in that amazing position.

@ISISbandLive Ya know im indifferent.Def ridiculously better than the last 3 shows il say that.Seeing 3rd eye,intolernce & the patient live was enough & worth the 6 hr drive i took to sacramento to see them.U gotta admit they seemed more into it this tour,maynard sounded great and was into it,It was amazing.My only complaint,i can seriousl live without hearing jambi,vicarious,&schism anymore.It was amazing,if they replaced those say with eulogy,the grudge and shit maybe H,it would be perfect.
