  • Wow, this is awesome! I did the trick while watching the vid, and i worked! :D

  • when I test it, I allways see one of my cards.... Please help me!

  • @darkbeast6661 Well I'm sat infront of my iPod with a pack of cards ;)

  • it has something to do with the even numbers cause if you count them out as your doing the trick they all face down are even numbers

  • you are basically always placing the cards in the same place in the deck cos, independently from where the observer cuts the decks you are always placing the cards in this pattern: 10 cards >1st card> 15 cards >2nd card >15 cards > 3rd card> 9 cards. this makes it so the 3 cards are always in the same even positions (10th, 26th, 42nd position).

  • Thanx man:P it works!

  • thanks...I ll try this at home.,

  • It's a sorting algorithm. Now don't get me wrong it's still cool, but IMHO, someone probably observed that if you sort the cards into two decks, the progression of piles is 26 13 7 3 3. You are always going to have this pattern, and because cards don't randomly move about the deck, there are certain starting positions in the full deck that will ensure a card be part of those last three or the next to last three or the next to last seven, etc. Also, it helps to have the false shuffle at the start

  • up down up down up down... DOWN ! lol

  • it does work because if you put the fifteen cut on the ten pile their card is eleventh so its odd and will end up in the upside down pile cause you deal the up first same with the others their even and are put on top so the first ace is now even with the other cards.and 15 on 11 is 26 which makes even also to be shifted down to the bottom because it changes from odd to even and back again

  • 'Up, down. Up, down. Up down. Up, down.' xD

  • Soooooo beautiful!!!

  • my idea is that the three cards get put in to even or odd places? not really sure but great trick :)

  • Ahh this trick again :D

    my classmate show this trick to me someday be4 and i figured out why it's 14, 15, 15, 5 or 10, 15, 15, 9 in a mathematical way.

But i'm sorry it's too complicated to explain here :(

  • THIS IS HOW TO DO THE TRICK First, take 3 spectators and let them to choose a card in a deck(note:one card each person).Second tell them to memorise their card.Third do the trick enjoy!!!

  • wow this is a really cool trick

  • awesome

  • You could on the third time do down up down up.. and then up down again and it will still work without the putting 4 cards on the bottom

  • How can i know the 4 cards i put in the bodom they are Aces?

  • @SuperstarFasterGod they arent the aces :) they are just random cards

  • @12Edix21 I mean how Aces come to bottom?

  • Comment removed

  • at the end my cards faced up not down???

  • it did not work the second time

  • can anyone tel me how to record card tricks? for youtube, like this one? thanks:) messageme

  • You don't need to put four cards on the bottom... all you need to do is on the third time your turn the cards, start laying a card face down instead of up and on the next set return to the normal pattern

  • i keep doing the same thing but it doesnt work

  • Thank you

  • this is an awesome card trick

  • Damn! IT WORKS! NO IDEA WHY TOO... XD

  • Reverse to down/up on step 3 and it will work without the 4 cards off the top

  • i figured out how this work its not tht complicated...

  • WOW

  • to Radium01 ... U r exactly right if ur first pile is (14 ) instead of ( 10 ) there is NO NEED TO TAKE 4 OFF THE TOP .. makes the trick that lil bit better & having 14 also makes it look like similar amount of card outlay at the beginning ;)

  • I did this card trick and i got it right the first time, then i showed the card trick to my dad, and i guess i did it wrong because he found his card during the up and down thing, then i tried it with my brother and i he found his card to, so i saw this video again and i forget to put the first 4 cards on the bottom so then i tried it with my mom and i got it right, Thanks!

  • Funny how he says up and down so long. THATS what ShE said

  • no matter how many cards u will put on the top of evry ace there always goona be in the same place which is 15,31,47 (from down->up) or 6,22,38(up->down) so when u start doing the up down steps the cards are 52.. from up->down the even cards go up so the selected cards remain dow (15,31,47) OR from down->up the odd cards go up but the selected cards are even so they remain down!...and this is being continued to evry cut as u cut the deck in half...52-26-13-7(4 up 3 down)! i hope i helped! :)

  • This trick works is because when you use the up, down steps the even cards remain down, and when also do the up, down steps it cuts the deck in half. For example: 52 to 26 to 13 to 7 (it will cut into up 7 cards, down 6 cards) to 3. In the 52 cards, the selected cards were in position 6, 22, and 38. In the 26 cards, the selected cards were in position 8, 16, 24. In the 13, the selected cards were in position 2, 6, 10. In the 6 cards, they were in position 2, 2, 2. So every time it works!

  • Up down up down up down, AND THEY STAY THERE

  • If you use pile sizes: 14, 15, 15, 5 instead of the 10, 15, 15, 9 respectively, there is no need to pass four cards from top to bottom. I think this makes the trick flow slightly better, and avoids awkward questions asking why you're doing it. Thumbs up if it helped.

  • @radium01 this way doesnt work at all.

  • @norik0 it does work all the time i did it like 20 times already

  • @norik0 at 1:45 you're exactly at radiums suggestion since the way you put the piles onto each other. You basicly add the rest of those 15 cards to the amount of cards you previously cut from them. In numbers this is like: 15 minus the cut cards plus the cut cards ("15+a-a=15"). Now at the end taking those 4 from top to bottom leaves you with 5 cards on top before your first chosen card and 14 cards at the bot. So basically radium01 suggests to start in the middle of the trick - and thats fine.

  • @radium01 perhaps it's because 10 and 9 are closer to each other, so the 4 decks will look less lop-sided, making it more believable that the 4 decks are just randomly distributed

  • i love your tricks,i'm a begginer and every trick works :D

  • it works :)

  • You got this trick From scam school write

  • It doesnt work for me :(

  • does it have to have the jocker in it as well

  • when i showed my parents they wer in aw

  • why do i always end up having the cards come face up??? like i practice this trick with the aces and the three always face up

  • @ishmaldulhei do you start up down or down up?

  • thumps p if mismag822 is amazing!

  • This trick is truly amazing but I haven't even tried it yet this guy is also amazing he diserved a round of applause and I know 3 card tricks from him plus this one

  • HOW THE IT WORKED! XD

  • I don't know if any one has figured this one out but I figured it out on how its done

  • i wonder how many people are sat infront of thier computer with a pack of cards lol.

  • Hahahaha it does work every SINGLE time!!

By far one of the simplest and best trick I've seen so far here on youtube!

I can't figure out how the mathematics work but us rather not. Thanks bro!!

  • up down up down up down

  • Nice trick! Thanks for tutorial l]:)

  • no !!!!!!

  • It finally Works on the Fourth try!!! :)

  • easy look

3 goes into 15, but not ten

then 3 does not go into 4

and when you put the nine cards ontop it is actualy 10 because of the card they choose so it leaves 3 remaining

  • Singing banana did a great explanation of this card trick

  • OK if you haven't been taught the logic behind this then let it remain as magic..the best card magic is when you can perform something you yourself are impressed by. So please be entertained by this and give the creator of this effect the respect he deserves and simply be amazed each and every time you perform it. Don't go seeking the answers because you will end up seeing this effect in a not as special manner that you do now.

  • The trick is the two decks with 15 cards so the cards count 16 from each other (16 = 2^4)

The same trick is possible with 7 or 3 card decks (7+1=8=2^3, 3+1=4=2^2)

the number of extra cards at the top and the end should be set according to the number of dealings needed. (15 card decks = 4 dealings, 7 card decks = 3 dealings, etc. )

in the video with 15 card decks, there were 5 cards at the top and 14 cards at the end.

with 7 card decks you need 3 or 5 cards at the top and 5 or 6 cards at the end.

  • continue: in the last round the first placed card is number 2 from the top, so it stays and the last placed card which is the last card also remains because there number of cards is even (6). Therefore we end up with the three place cards!!!

Sorry if my explanation is not well written, but if you think about it you will get it.

  • continue: in the third round number, the last placed card which is number 2 will remain because the cards are dealed from the top again and becomes number 1 from the end. The first placed card which was number 4 from the end will become number 2 from the top. Remember that in the third round there are 13 cards remained therefore the first and the last cards are odd and are removed. In the last round the first placed card will remain because it is number 1.

  • continue: the last chosen card which is placed last will have 9-4=5 cards on top of it. Therefore it will be number 6. The first time the odd cards will be remove from the top. 1,3 and 5. The card therefore will be the third from this side. But the cards have changed order so it will be the third from the end. On the other side the first card which have been number 15 from the end will be number 8 from the top. In the second round it will be number 4 and the last card will be number 2.

  • The 15 cards which are randomly divided by two batch will sit in a way to separate the chosen cards by 15 cards in the middle. Therefore counting from each one the other one is fixed to 16 which is 2^4 so can be divided by 2, 4 times. The first time 8 cards go away, the second time 4, the third time 2 and the last time 1, summing to 15. This is the secret to the 15 card decks. Regarding the start and end it is more complicated so I continue in the next comment.

  • I know the explanation. It is clearly design by some one who is good with math and not not with some random dude! :-D I will write the explanation. If you do not want it to stay here remove it please.

  • I was put in for gifted and talented in maths at primary school and the showed me this i tried it and it never failed but no one everexplained how it works to me

  • funny how the cutting changes absolutely nothing hahaha

  • plz watch my video of this trick

  • dude i luv this trick every falls for it dude u r so good

  • dude you have awesome tricks i love all of these i am good at card tricks

  • If on the third up down cycle you start with down with the excuse that you want to break monotony, you can skip the risky business of putting 4 cards on the bottom.

  • what the..................that's great!!!

  • nice trix!!! i'm a math teacher: most likely got to do wif even & odd numbers??

  • @konstandy yes it does ............ the up down trick along with the counted number of cards in each pile

  • Is up first

  • does not work

  • @iamsam181664 download an update xDDD

  • 3x3 good maths trick!

  • Done this loads in front of friends and even someone who was my maths teacher at the time and ,as long as you follow it correctly, it works EVERY TIME!!

For anyone who is interested, the reaction of the person who was my maths teacher was hilarious!

  • Omg I love this trick it actually works

  • Nobody noticed there are 3 piles of cards and 3 cards chosen

    3 x 3 = 9

  • nice :D

  • i have also done this trick pleas watch my video of it

like if your going to watch my video and if you think mismag822 is amazing

    comment rate and subscribe pleas

  • brilliant trick. i did it on my brother and he spent ages trying to figure it out. he thought i was doing loads of slights or something and he crapped himself when he found out you actually just had to do it.

  • amazin :oo

  • @MagixCameron derp

  • the cards are always in the same position. 1st card gets always in the 11th position, the second card is always on the 27th position and the third card on the 43rd position. Wherever they cut the cards, it doesn't matter cause the other half of the cutted cards will be places on top of the other cards that you cutted.

  • like if you think this card trick is amazing

  • @hampsonsamuel like if you like to like the like ooo like..

stop to like to be liked..

  • it worked

  • hi guys hear is an idea why not go to my channel thanks!!

  • It really worked for me man :D

  • cool trick.. in fact.. if you do work out the math.. you could easily pick the 3 cards directly out of the deck without counting them up/down.. that could be more impressive

  • Comment removed

  • it didnt work for me, i think a card is missing

  • Wait.... Srry I just failed -.- it worked nm srry

    Great trick

  • 0.0 wtfff

I did exactly wut u said and it's not working

I have a perfectly good deck of 52

    It's notttt workingggg 0.0

  • Really great card trick.

  • i did it i dont know how but i did and it worked please tell me how please

  • Here's an explanation: Chuck Norris came up with this trick :P

  • amazing

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my brain

  • Wellll.... the way you set it up - you had the person cut the 15 card decks, but you still organized the piles so that there is 9 on top, an ace, 15 cards, then an ace, then 15 cards, then another ace, then 10 cards again. so the cuts canceled out. then doing up down thing is just counting out evens and odds. so eventually youll reduce the pile to the divided lines, which is just boring math.

  • Cracked it! :D

  • Hey, How come you don't just put 14 cards in the first pile then 15 in the 2nd and 15 in the 3rd. That way you don't have to do the messy move of getting the top 4 cards to the bottom?

  • this is bull shart

  • Order of the 15 cards changed, but the number of cards seperating 3rd chosen card and 2nd chosen card is remained as 15. It applies similarly for the seperation of 2nd and 1st chosen card. THUMBS UP IF U UNDERSTOOD MY EXPLAINATION (:

  • Flipped* means:

3rd chosen card has 15 cards in between the 2nd chosen card.

Hence when u count down from 3rd chosen card (being faced DOWN), u will end up with the 2nd chosen card as being faced DOWN too.

Then u count 15 cards down again, to find that the 1st chosen card is also faced DOWN

  • I solved out how it works, it's a bit hard to explain, u have to think backwards,

    1. Think about, when he removed 4/9 cards from the top of the 3rd deck. The 3rd chosen card is on e DOWN POSITION.

    2. When he cut e 3rd deck to put onto the 2nd deck. E order of e 3rd deck flipped* (apply this when u cut 2nd deck to 1st deck)

    3. So by applying this, u know that e 2nd chosen card is therefore on a DOWN POSITION too.

    4. Apply this again, 1st chosen card is on the DOWN POSITION.

  • Hi! I think this is just a simple Math. It is all about odd numbers.

  • nice ill put that on my vid because that trick is awsome

  • singing banana??? :D

  • yahoooooooooooooooooo it works
