  • @facubarca That is Doyle Bramhall I on drums. Doyle never over played, which isn't a bad thing. This is one of the songs he wrote that Stevie Ray Vaughan covered. Doyle and Stevie were life long friends and wrote several songs togeather. They played in bands togeather before Stevie started Double Trouble. Doyle was also in bands with Stevie's older brother Jimmie.

Stevie fashioned his style of singing after Doyle's.

Both are now playing in that big band in the sky :(

  • Its just me or the drummer seems a bit robotic.

  • Great video short - Doyle's foot-to-the-floor bass and CC Adcock on the Steelcaster. I'm happy ='p

  • @sethwardwell I am happy anytime I get the chance to see Doyle play. Fantastic musician/singer/songwriter and a genuine wonderful person.

  • It's called hair dye...that IS Nick!

  • Yep. Nick had dyed out his hair like that years ago when I saw him backing Ronnie Dawson. He's one bad mofo.

  • That aint Nick Curran... since when did Nick have blond hair? That guy is much better than Curran. CC Adcock is the dark haired guy on the metal Tele, and the acoustic is Casper Rawls I think.

  • I just checked a short clip I had of Nick singing, but the sound isn't the best and it is really short.

The whole group behind Doyle smokes!!

  • nick curran is one of the baddest mofos to ever pick up a guitar....and that don't even cover his singing
