  • Great video dude! My ten year old son and I were singing the songs. His Dad was in Army in Vietnam. Thanks to all our troops from WWII to Iraq and Afghanistan, our family is proud of you!

  • We must elevate Military service and highly respect our men and women who serve in it.

  • the super power america, being defeated by talibaan in afganistan.who have just ak47 and roket lanchers.shame on u america

  • The picture at 2:56 The helicopter. Can anyone tell me where that picture is from? I didn't know we used helicopters in the military before Vietnam.

  • @the1unknown9 it could have been in

    Korea

  • @the1unknown9 not related to your question..but helicopters were used as early as world war II by the german army..we adopted them afterwards..and that picture is a helicopter in the korean war.

  • @the1unknown9 The helo is a Sikorsky H-19 Chickasaw. You may know it by its civilian designation, the S-55. The Marines flew a similar but basically improved version of this, the H-34 in Vietnam right up to 1969. I flew an S-55 for awhile in civilian life up in the Arctic..kind of underpowered but a nice old machine to fly.

  • i love this...........

  • Thanks for posting this....

Dale in Alabama-- 2 tours in Nam.....before I was old enough to buy a drink!!

  • My father became permanently crippled on September 11th, 2001. (North Tower)

Last year I showed up at his rehab center in my USAF combat fatigues. He was playing poker with his buddies there. I had never seen him so proud in my entire life.

  • Great montage! I have a sweetie, brother and cousin all deployed right now. Thanks for showing them and the rest of the fine men and women serving our country some love.

  • 0:50

I started singing that aloud on my first time riding a Huey Helicopter (USAF)

  • There are simply more Army men than everyone else, so we'll be on top :)

  • @Nadirion1

I already said that we're all equal, but since you had to test it...

There are a lot of queer-boys in the army....the most morally un inclined people on the planet.

    Still think you're on top?

  • @MarlboroKnightHawk religious nut job?

  • @Nadirion1

No...just someone who was taught right from wrong as a child.....

And I'm speaking to someone who apparently wasn't.

  • @MarlboroKnightHawk Calling army men queer boys and queer boys evil is moral or good in your eyes? You're lost.

  • @Nadirion1

I didn't say all army men are queer boys...the army does have some great soldiers in it. I'm saying that it has a LOT of fags in it, though...ever since it became OK to display it in the services (fuck Obama and his liberal bullshit).

But yeah...I don't consider faggots to be an equal....thats a violation against nature.

  • @MarlboroKnightHawk

If you were indeed raised right then you would know that being gay is (according to Christian teachings anyway) adultery. You aren't gonna treat a guy who slept with a girl who isn't is wife like he is less human so I don't see why gays should be. Why don't you go out and fight the real battle against sin itself by witnessing about Jesus instead of fighting over BS individual wrongs like homosexuality?

  • What the hell is this, a Cyber-Civil War??

We're all brothers and sisters fighting under the American flag. We just fight out battles in different elevations/conditions. Still....we're on the same side, let's keep it that way.

    -David (United States Air Force)

  • This is nice, but it sounds different having the U.S. Army yelling "Nothing Can Stop The U.S. Air Force". Doesn't have that Air Force kick-in-the-ass to it..

  • Thank you for posting this song. I couldn't find a good one but now I found it. I think I may be getting a solo for one of the parts in this song, and I needed to practice. - <3 - Thank you again.

  • You might be a Redneck if you say Tank You to the US Servicemen and Servicewomen.

You might be a Redneck if you respect the Stars and Stripes.

You might be a Redneck if you sing Patriotic Songs.

    Something I saw earlier.

    But I guess I'm a Redneck then.

  • @FLJBeliever1776 Me too isnt it great :D

  • @FLJBeliever1776 Me too isn't it great? :D

  • @griffin3314 I guess sometimes being a Redneck is being American.

    And here's a better one!

Let's force a law through that limits a person's time in an official office, like Governor, Senator, basically kick out all those entrenched politicians and we will only have to worry about them as often as the President holds officer, a max of two terms.

  • @FLJBeliever1776 I guess I am too! Oo-rah.

  • @RoundenBrown negatron, those F-4s are AF. heres how you can tell. navy F-4s were not painted to blend in.

  • Each branch is wonderful! They all have protected a beautiful, and amazing country. They have given their lives to let this country stand up for freedom and what is right for humans to live by. It is a country in which you don't have to be born here to feel your heart beating with love for this country. The country is.. AMERICA!! And the Armed Forces give us these rights and stand for us when we are weak. U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S Coast Guard!!

  • Put 'em in whatever order you please,They ALL fought & died for me & my family and all I can say is THANK YOU! 1 and all!!!!!!!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • SEMPER PARATUS

  • Thank you for this tribute. it is nice to see someone honor my fellow brothers in arms.

  • The Coast Guard ran many of the landing vessels during the Normandy invasions. One boat pilot, Douglas Munro won the Medal of Honor posthumously for his actions on the Normandy beaches.

The Coast Guard had the highest percentage of fatalities of all the services in WWII. Their ships often served as escorts for Navy ships.

  • should be Marines first......before Army then the Navy.......then Army and AF since it seems they respond last.

  • 2:13 thats some heavy fire power for the coast guard

  • @8narutoshodowclones Do you have a problem with one of our nation's armed forces? The Coast Guard?

  • @Movieman88773 wat? no im just saying thats a gun for people who mainly save people from drowning in water or saving ship wrecked people and maybe stop cuban drug smugglers thats all

Even the coast guard they dropped marines in guam

  • @Modernceaser the U.S. Air Force was formed in 1947 under the administration of President of Harry S. Truman. Along with this, the CIA and other government agencies were formed.

  • @SWBoPCstudios

Air Force was created after WW2, in 1947. It was part of the Army before that.

  • Look up Douglas Munro. At least 500 Marines owed their lives to the actions of this lone Coastie. He paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure their safety at Guadalcanal.

  • Ask the National Guard units what they've been doing to the past few years. The TN National Guard had been in country for a year and a half by the time I came home from serving in Iraq and Kuwait with the COAST GUARD! Defense, huh?

  • douche bag check your history you got it all wrong the coast guard is the longest running sea service starting with the revenue cutters . and there was a time when the navy did not exist.

  • I did not mean any offense, its just.... the coast guard just doesn't do that much. They say they are active but they'ye just "on alert" for an attack during a war. And when there is one they're poorly equiped. How many casualties do they have? How many kills do they have?

You tell me 3 factual ways that they are effective and i will stand corrected.

Everyone else in the armed forces have earned they're respect for risking they're lives for thier country.

    (no anti-patriotism intended)

  • They have been in Every war since the Quasi War with France. They are currently in Iraq and Afghanistan where 1250 served, only 2 casualties. In Vietnam they were important because they had cutters that were small and agile enough to go upstream and follow the Vietcong, while the navy ships were much to large.

They serve as Port Security with the Navy and they are the only Branch authorized as being able to also be a Law Enforcer.

  • The Coast Guard risks their lives every day. They are the Nations Guardian during war and peace always active always on alert.

The Coast Guard is credited with being the Nations most flexible armed force as being able to handle virtually any task.

Oh and when your lost at sea, or if you get kidnapped at sea, or attacked by drug lords and the Coast Guard has to bust in and save you, you can tell them they don't do much.

The Military is about how many lives you save, not how many you end.

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong, where are you getting your information. The Coast Guard was never part of the Navy, it answers to the naval department during war time yes, but it's not part of the navy. And yes the Navy was formally disbanded.

  • @robertanthonyluna u are right coast guard came after the navy

  • They do a hell of alot more then you think,

My first 4 yeasr was in teh Coast Guard, they do more with less then any other service there is, How about Katrina, There were coasties killind in Irag and Desert Storm, One of who I knew personelly

  • Very nice. Thank you for posting this.

  • God Bless the American troops and keep them safe!

  • God Bless the Brave Men and Women in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

    For God and Country.

  • Is there any way that you can make the MP3 available for download?

  • God Bless This Country!!! Thank you to our Verterans!

  • USAF!!! USMC!!!

  • from the Coast Guard Historians Office

The United States Coast Guard trace our history back to 4 August 1790, The Coast Guard is one of the oldest organizations of the federal government and, until the Navy Department was established in 1798, we served as the nation's only armed force afloat.

  • @whitakermk actually the navy was cominshed in 1775

  • The Navy was disbanded and was recreated in 1798, for the time in between the Coast Guard was the nations only maritime armed force. Thus, the Coast Guard is the Nations oldest continuous Maritime Force.

  • The US Marines were established 10 November 1775, which is slightly more than a month after the Navy. However, with their 7 year hiatus, you could argue that the Marines are technically older by 7 years. However, because there was an armed maritime organization (the USRCS), you could say that they were within the realm of Naval activity, and should be included in the Navy's chronology. However, with their primary objective being to protect all US commercial vessels, what about the USCG? ;)

  • The USRCS is the former name for the Coast Guard up till the USLSS (United States Life Saving Service) and the United States Revenue Cutter Service combined to form the United States Coast Guard.

  • that's what i was trying to insinuate with the question ----- i ran out of room, and i didn't want to have to write a 3rd entry :P

  • Actually, the US Navy was officially commissioned by congress on 13 October 1775 (Army was established on 14 June 1775), but was disbanded in 1790 due to high operating costs. It was reestablished in 1797 when its first three warships were commissioned: USS United States, USS Constitution, and USS Constellation. During the 7yr hiatus, there was an armed maritime organization called the US Revenue Cutter Service.

  • GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS !!!

  • Go USAF and all of our sister branches!

  • pure shit... terrific

  • GREAT!!! JUST PLAIN GREAT!!!

  • Remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we may all live. Never forget!

I would trust my life to a soldier over any tough talking punk on the street.

  • Thank you so much for including the CG in your video. It may not be a member of the DoD but they are a military branch and as a wife to a Coastie, I can tell you that my husband puts his life on the line to save and protect US citizens :) Thank you to all the US military! We wouldn't be here with out you!

  • The US Armed Forces is the strongest! We are on land, in the sea, in the air, and in the vacume above us.

  • marines win hands down although the army song is kinda catchy :D

  • Other than your "best for last" theory I have know idea why they did it that way. Also just to let you know, the Coast Guard is not actually a member of the DOD, they fall under the Dept. of Interior. The reason for the USMC being before the USN is that after the American Revolution the Navy was disbanded until 1789, or somewhere around there. So that would make the USMC the second oldest branch of the service.

  • Coast Guard used to be part of the department of transportation until 2003, when they became part of the department of homeland security. I didnt know there was anything putting the branches in order, but if I had anything to do with it, I would have the marines first, and the coast guard second. They have the top two basic training programs of all the services.

  • During Wartime the Coast Guard is under the DOD and answers to the Sect of the Navy. It use to be under the Treasury Dept. during peacetime.

  • I dont now how long ago they were dept. of treasury, but I've been in the military for eight years, and my first six were spent in the coast guard, under the department of transportation during peace time. they are now department of homeland security. I know they fall under dept of the navy during war. I actually deployed with a naval coastal warfare unit, and our commander answered to a naval coastal warfare commander during the deployment in 2003.

  • The USCG is under the Department of Homeland Security, under wartime they can be transferred under the Department of the Navy (President and Congress ordered). The United States Marine Corps are also under the Department of the United States Navy. As far as this disbanded stuff, Do you have comments? facts? I mean, that doesn't make sense historically??? So all of a sudden the Navy doesn't exist? I find that hard to believe. If you can you show some facts on this ? Thank you.

  • Great tribute. I know it may not mean anything to you but, there is an order in which each branch is to be shown. Each branch varies in the regulations, but the DOD Directive 1008.d dated 1977 states the order as follows:

U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S Coast Guard. This is the Official Order and overides all Branch regulations. Since there have been so many of these videos and tributes posted, thought that the folks doing them would like to have this info.

  • Wow, I had no idea. Thanks for the information! Would you happen to know if there is any reason why this particular U.S. Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus version is done in this order or is it simply them leaving the Army as the "best for last"? Any more interesting information like you have posted would be welcomed.

  • @DoctorXProducer Actually in the official order i think army comes first. Marions come last. Nacy comes second. and Air Force 3rd. And coast guard not at all. But theres a possibility that there is no required order.

  • the navy is officially stated in the dod guidelines as before the marine corps

  • Comment removed

  • @buyubengals But, you get a guy like me, US Navy, Ret. Navy comes first. =Stefan=

  • @buyubengals; thanks for the info. I can't seem to find the DoD Directive as it's probably outdated. Individual service bands have their own arrangements leaving their song for last but unfortunately many of the arrangements leave out the Coast Guard song.

  • I love this: as the daughter, sister, niece, cousin of Veterans (all branches, including Coast Guard), as well as a USAF Veteran, myself, I appreciate the time it took to produce this wonderful tribute to our armed forces! God bless 'em, and you!! 10 stars!

  • Amazing video! Great Job.

  • God Bless them!

  • AMAZING VIDEO!!!

  • The Marine Corps Hymn has had a lyric update since the introduction of air power. The fourth line is now "in the air, on land, and sea"

  • Thanks. Just keeping it old school, but the change has been made.

  • This is good movie .

The U.S. Armed Forces is strong.

    Keep fighting for liberty!

    Long live America!
