This is incredible. The brilliance with which the actor transforms from Cervantes to Quijote is unfathomable. Having seen this play many times before, I was blown away by how wonderfully the transformation was. Amazingly well done for community theater.
I saw Brian Stokes Mitchell in previews in DC for Don Quixote before it went to Broadway several years ago - and loved the show. Tonight - I ended up watching your video because Mitchell's performance isn't posted. Anyway, the performance you have here is remarkably good. Great singing. Thanks.
Hello. Two years ago, I saw this video because I was looking for many different versions of this song since I was going to perform as Sancho on a big production of this play in Puerto Rico and I absolutely loved it! IT INSPIRED ME A LOT! And my master as well ;P Thank You!
I had the pleasure of doing the role of governor/innkepper 32 years ago..love the play...this production looks as professional and well cast/directed/choreographed as any I've ever seen. Very very very nice indeed. kudos to all involved.
I've done the Innkeeper in 4 different productions: 1971;1973:1987; and most recently on 2006.
My voice changed 2 months before my 12th birthday, and by the time i was in 7th grade,I sounded like John Carradine.Consequently, the Innkeeper is the only role I could do.
it was a little rushed from his monolouge to singing but besides that amazing performance

I think, there are so many fantastic talents out there. And its so great, that they play in communities so all people can afford to watch them.
Great show!

The moment he runs his hands through his hair and dishevels it, he ceases to be Cervantes and becomes Don Quixote! What a fantastic actor!

Brilliant horses; no one can match Peter O'Toole as Don Quixote, but those horses were better, just, which is hard.
