Thus, the leader of the AL would face the leader of the NL. The Yankees had the richest city in the US, New York. They could buy any player they want, and stacked their team. The other AL teams were to poor to do anything. After the 1969 playoffs, the Yankees only won 8 of their 27 World Series, making up only 3.38% of their titles. So, please stop arguing.

You still have no argument, wanna know why? The Celtics have been around for a total of 62 years. In that span they won 17 titles. Now go back and look at the Yankees, they Were established in 1903, now count all their titles for 62 years then stop. In that 62 year span the Yankees have won 20 championships. That's still three more then the Celtics. So even if you wanna compare time for time, Both in their first 62 years the Yankees have more. So your little time argument is bullshit too.

Just remember something, Most of the greatest players of all time came out of the Yankees farm system. They were never bought by the Yankees, they were developed by them. And for present day, look at cano, Jeter, Posada, Rivera, Chamberlain, Hughes, Pettite, Cabrerra, all great players, and all homegrown.

I'd also like you to explain how a 1124 and 939 record is owning someone? Ownage is when you win about 80% of the time or more. Like the Celtics are 9-2 against the Lakers in the NBA finals. That's OWNING someone. If Boston were 11-9, that's not exactly "ownage."
