My take on what happened.

Rifqa came home from school. The day her school kicked her out of the cheerleading team for being so ugly. She went to her family and said I don't want to live in Ohio anymore. I want to move to a different state. Her parents said she would have to wait until she graduates high school.

She became mad and angry and ran away from home.

Troubled teens will find any reason to run away from home. The only way she wont be returned home, is if she blames her parents.

Exodus 15:3, the Bible tells us the Lord is a man of war.

Numbers 31, the Lord tells Moses to kill all the Midianites, sparing only the virgins. Deuteronomy 13:6-16, the Lord instructs Israel to kill anyone who worships a different god or who worships the Lord differently.

Mark 7:9, Jesus is critical of the Jews for not killing their disobedient children as prescribed by Old Testament law.

Luke 19:22-27, Jesus orders killed anyone who refuses to be ruled by him.

Luke 19:22 is Jesus telling a parable. He's not ordering anyone to be killed. Mark 7:9 is talking about the pharisies and that they give honor to God with only their lips.. not quite sure where you got anything about killing children?? The old testament passages were for a specific time and a specific place, not an enduring command to "Fight in the way of Allah" like Muhammad gave.

Great video! For Rifqa it's not too late. But her internet - and phone use has been restricted by the Ohio court! That's a shame. Rifqa did nothing wrong according to american law. She did something wrong according to islamic law, that is sharia law. So in fact sharia law has been applied to her in an american court.
