you dont need a special endorsement or a course. if your over 15 you don't. now sleds don't buy a old one buy a new one or one that is a few years old Yamaha has the bast 4-stroke, but Act Cat has a good one to. you have to see the one you like but your going to pay about 14,000.00 for a new one and for a used one that a few year old 5000.00 to 8,000,00.
whats a good reliable snowmobile to buy as a first. And do people have to get a special endorsement on the Drivers license to own one also would I have take a course?
@DALE97DSM NO! You don't have to a special endorsement on your Drivers license. All sleds they days are GOOD you need to go buy the one you like. I love my 2010 Yamaha Ive had a lot of sled over the years. but all if them are good Yamaha ,ski doo , Arctic Cat and polaris. I going to buy a new 2012 today. it a Yamaha Apex 4-stroke. bad ass sled of the year. but a course yes you don't need it if your over 15 but it a good idea if your going to ride.
Northern Michigan is usually "the place to ride" but the snow has been pretty bleak this year. Either get on the snow the day it falls or get on mud the day after...might as well put your trail permit on a quad.....
