HD camcorders should have big sensors like the DSLR's but without the wobbling imagery of a rolling shutter.DSLR's should have a better recording codec and not as compressed,so what if we need a bigger card to record to.The technology exists,so why not merge the Large sensor and lenses of a DSLR and the recording codec of a full HD camera like P2 for example.

Two questions.

What's with you asking people to flip off that camera? Seems pretty 7th grade, and it gets boring to see it pic after pic.

My other question is, I noticed some of your shots were out of focus. Were you using autofocus, looking through the viewfinder, or LCD screen? I've heard the viewfinder is not very good for some reason to see if you're in focus or not. I'm thinking of getting the T2i, but if it's that hard to keep in focus... =(

@MrDefaulto You can't use the viewfinder while in video mode, or live mode for that matter.. because the mirror flips up so the image can get to the sensor (just like when you take a picture and the viewfinder blacks out for a fraction of a second). DSLRs are really easy to manual focus (lens dependent; not camera dependent) and the autofocus in video mode is slow. Manual focus is easy enough.. I prefer it over an autofocusing video (sometimes autofocus misses your intended target).
