excuse me whe the game is started u got 13 tiles right of each player but how come in the end of this video said if we got 4 chow or pung plus 1 pair is considered as mahjong and win but it doesnt make any sense bcoz as far as im concerned mahjong nly 13 tiles but in the end it turns to be 14 tiles including the pair so it doent match how u explain that please
@Han893 You can only HAVE 13 tiles and that is also why you have to DISCARD 1 tile after drawing.. Shouldn't be too hard to understand... If you would have tried to count the amount of pungs you could do with a pair, you get exactly 4 chows/pungs and a pair... You can only win once you draw or someone discards a tile you need to finish your hand combinations..
the real writing is MAHJONG but for some ppl in china or HK or any other china suburbs got a diff in pronounciation thats why u ppl may sound differently of that! its actually their language is not mainly chinese but other suburb dialects so still internationally it is indeed called mahjong but in some places r not
You know how this works. This was made to sell a service, not be culturally inoffensive. -_- I'm not a huge stickler for pronunciation, but wow... Someone needs to be slapped for this.
HAHAHA you dont scream MAHJONG when u win

My friends and I play Riichi Mahjong all the time.

for god sakes, if you're going to give a demo on Mahjong, please pronounce it correctly. I had to cringe every time I heard madjong... :o
