It's a magpul... you can get it from midwayusa. just google midwayusa. they have one for ar-15 and another one for ar-10. there is a difference. make sure you get the right one. btw this is not a collapsible stock... it is adjustable
It is heavy as hell. It is not a rifle for tactical or hunting adventures. It is really a long range semi-auto piece of wonder. Sold at a very low price. I would not take that rifle onto the field for anything else beyond target shooting. Not practical
great advise I needed, as I am interested in getting it. However nobody has it for sale anymore and its heavy weight is tempting me to just go with something else. ps. You say it's heavy as hell and I believe you, but in the vid when you placed it down it didn't seem all THAT heavy.
it is a 24 inch bull barrel. It is not fluted. It is a 12.5 lbs rifle with the mapul stock I added later to it. All the weight is on the barrel so shooting this thing unsupported may prove to be tricky. I have heard of people using it for hunting though. Check the dpmsinc website for more info.
and the mounts? I have an LR also but cant decide what to do about the standard front sight, I shoot just fine with them, but would like to add a low mag scope for deer. Where did you find your bi-pod?
100 yards. A little more than 1/2 moa is what this rifle consistently shoots (1/2 - 3/4). sometimes you can get lucky and shoot less than that. I use 175 grain sierra match with 41.4 grains of IMR 4895. I sit the bullet at 2.81" oal. It seems to like it. Also 40grains of the same powder seems to do the job as well. It is the most accurate semi I own. I also have a m1a almost as twice as expensive and this rifle leaves it in the dust.
@lovshooting WOW I have the same weapon and I love it. I can shoot groups around 1 inch with factory ammo and a decent bushnell 3/9 times scope. I would like to start reloading. What primers and cases are you using? i would love to get 1/2 inch groups.
Indeed they are. For putting holes on paper at 100 yards they do the trick just fine. In a military or law enforcement application I agree they make little sense.
Mate could I trouble you to measure the length of your free float handguard. I need to know for a rail I am ordering.

I have this rifle. What butt stock is that on your rifle? I have not seen one like that.

Nice.
How far out was your target? Looks like all of the shot were in a tight group just to the left and slightly above the bullseye?

Good info.
I'm still waiting for my scope and mount so I haven't had a chance to fire mine yet.
