Skyrim is shit, was full of glitches on release. Should have been kept in development longer to fine tune it but Bethesda are impatient morons and released it anyway knowing everyone would buy it anyway just because it was an elder scrolls game and they could patch the glitches later on. You would be pissed if you bought a car from say Ford and then found out it had a ton of problems they were aware of before shipping it to you and when asked they tell you they'll send parts out to fix it later on and you'll need to take it to a mechanic to get it fixed.

If that happened you'd demand your money back and never buy from them again.

It's the exact same here. A game should never be released with the problems Skyrim had.

@Madt001 Except instead of taking the vehicle into a mechanic to be serviced, and having to ask others for rides if i need to be somewhere while my car is in the shop and having to PAY money to the mechanic in addition to the money i originally payed to ford, i just have to download a free patch.

At least it's not like sonic 06, where it never got fixed, and at least it was playable before it got fixed, and i still buy sega games even though i'm still mad i payed $60 for sonic 06.

@NYPDBLUE87 PS3 had a shit ton of titles last year and IGN chose the most over-rated (but deserving) game on the PS3. Skyrim was the best western RPG on 360 and the best console port of Skyrim, so it got the award. Not to mention Gears 3 wasn't good enough for Game of the Year. As for Portal 2, i heard it was great, i think it was a fair nomination.

I own a PS3 and Uncharted 2, never bought Uncharted 3 but I did play it. I'm not a fan of games with so many cutscenes, its more of a movie than a game.

Skyrim on PC is much better, you play how you like without much interruption or cut scenes. Plus it gives 100+ hours of gaming not 7-8 hours like Uncharted 3.

It does not make sense to treat it as an Xbox game because quite frankly the game is best on PC as you have all the mods which are EXCLUSIVE to that platform.
