  • SICK GUY

  • LOL !!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME !!!! :D

  • can you do a muscle up on that dorr? and why would you use a towel lol? those are for pussies!

  • @zuevaxcy23 Haha I can't do a muscle up on the door. I'm pretty sure the door would move and I would get hurt. I'm working toward a muscle up on regular bars, but I haven't gotten over the hump. As for the towel, this isn't a bar I'm working with. It's a square wooden door. The sharp edge digs into your hands. So I really wouldn't suggest to any body to not use a towel when you doing pull ups on a door.

  • @rashb same, it does hurt your hands. But then you can hang on your fingers instead of grabbing the top with your hand. Would be even more difficult =P

  • @zuevaxcy23 i use a towel too, my door hurts your palms alot if you dont use a towel =/

  • @fermerwuvu no pain no gain

  • lol crazy!

  • much love <3

  • hahaha i fucking love you man

  • lol i will brake my door so easy...

  • Wow i cant believe i didnt think of that i was almost gonna spend 20 bucks on 1 u put on the door, thanks for the great idea! now i can save my money

  • @BallerSkier why so negative man hes only helping with added humour so my question is why the anger and negativity

  • @rashb ur a cool dude man u kept ur cool talkin to ball suker above. I got nothing but respect for you

  • @VuidoT22 I appreciate the support ol chap. I never like to censor people if they don't like the video. But his comments have nothing to do with the video. So I think about erasing them. Now go get your pull-ups on my brotha, so you can help me go beat him up! haha j/k

  • @rashb right on im doing this one tommorrow on back and biceps day

  • @VuidoT22 Use a towel, cause by pull up 3 or 4, you'll feel the edge starts digging in your palm.

  • @rashb

First off, kudos to you for obviously being the bigger human being here, and not letting whatshisname get to you. Second - cool idea, I tried it out today and it worked great! Saved me 27.99 (plus S&H! lol.)

  • @cohippie Yeah it's a great tip if you have no equipment around. Though some people are saying if your heavy it's not great idea cause the door my come off the hinges. So eventually I would get a bar. But definitely an immediate solution for the moment. Thanks for compliment.

  • search my video wide arm pull ups door

  • Thats all well and good 'till you pull the door off the hinges and come crashing down to the floor!

P.S. If that does happen please upload the video, cause it would be hilarious to watch!

  • I LIKED YOUR BLENDER GREEN JUICE VIDEO, BUT THIS DOOR VIDEO IS ENTERTAINING, BUT YOU CAN WRECK THE DOOR DOING THAT. EVEN IF YOU DON'T HERE IT CRACK OVER TIME YOU'LL BE WEAKENING THE HINGES AND SCREW FITTINGS. IT WOULD BE BETTER TO USE THE ENERGY CLEANING THE HOUSE OR MAKING REPAIRS, THAT WAY YOU GET EXERCISE AND YOU'RE IMPROVING THE PROPERTY AT THE SAME TIME.

  • @whothehellgivesadamn Good point on the weakening hedges. I now have pull up bars, but this is just a quick on the fly solution if you want to get some balance in with your push ups. Cause when I didn't have a bar, I would do all these push ups, and I noticed over time without a pull excercise the imbalance and a weird feeling in my shoulder blade. However weakening hinges is a disclaimer I want to put up. Thank you.

  • Thanks! Your awesome!!!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  • NO PULL UP BAR? NO PROBLEM!!!! haha great

  • Always use a towel for your hands or else they hurt like hell after!

  • @Kev1nY4ng Oh yeah for sure, I forgot to mention that!

  • dude your hilarious

  • LMAO

  • Wow this is easy, try to do pull ups on the door way hinge(not the top of the door, i can only do 1 of those. or try to do side ways pull ups on a stop sign bar.

  • Lol this is great :D

  • Haha, nice one man. I personally do them on my cupboard, works well too.

  • hell i weigh 135 and im afraid im gonna rip the door off the hinges.

  • @ZombieManiax Yeah everyone keeps saying that. I'm 155. At 135 I just can't see you ripping the door of the hinges unless it's really a loose door. I say give it a light try and if you hear any cracks, then get off fast! haha but you gotta try it once.

  • LOL

  • Good idea, though I sort of took the vid with a grain of salt and a lil' humor. Anyway, this guy looks very fit and has a great attitude.

  • you might break the door off the hinges doing this. good idea though... untill you break your door. lol

  • @h8tenonyou Haha. Well phrased.

  • Yeah, this is easy to do for someone who is not over weight, but what about those of us who are over, well over the 175 threshold?

  • "theres always a way" hahahaha that made laugh so hard,

  • lol, i have a pull up bar, but i choose to use the door instead, lol, bicycle kicks XD

  • 'There's always a way'...YES!! You rawk. :-))

  • wow i can't believe i didn't think of this very clever seriously i'm not bullshitting good vid

  • uh, good idea but i weight 230 and i feel as though i would rip the bloody hinges off the door.

  • Me too, Im too scared for that, lol I weigh 196 and I think I'll rip the door off the hinges lol

  • @MsFaffinette89 Hmm your fitness is much more important than a crusty old door. Haha just kidding. I'm only like 155 but those iron gym pull up bars say they can hold 300 lbs. This is only if you get really hyped to do some pull ups and there is nothing around.

  • @rashb A little update: I tried after I watched this video, turns out im not to heavy, but thats not saying much because I could only do a half of one, I think Im going to have to work myself up to it. I need to find differemt ways to work on my upper body : (

  • kewl. For some reason you reminded me of Wayne Brady in this vid. You have his humor.

  • Omg, no you did not just call me him. Haha this guy at work does it too and everyone always laughs. Although don't get me wrong, I like the Waynester its just the equivalent of when they used to call me Carlton.

  • Oops, Sorry. I think Wayne is cute! So it really was supposed to be a compliment.

  • @angeleyz63 I was about to say the exact same thing! And I also mean it in the complementary.

  • great , u da man!

  • LOL, that's funny. Add 50 pounds to yourself and do it again, I want to see you smash your head when the door comes off its hinges.

  • Lol...haha

  • awesome

  • Lol... there is always a way if you want to exercise...that's the right message!!!

As for the door pull ups, of course it's a bit different motion and resistence than hanging off a bar, but yes it works. But on yours or you I see it works, on mines or with my weight I am afraid it might come off the hinges.

  • Yeah you have a lot more size on you, so I'm not sure it's a good idea. But I saw your vid and love the rope idea and am curious to try that.

Yeah I was just showing people the option if they had no bar, until they can get one.

Stay fit my brotha and pass along new exercise tricks when you get them.

  • I am 189 pounds. I just did 6 sets of 12 reps on my bathroom door. I have been doing it for a while. In the winter I was 215 (bulking) I did the same thing. I tried on many doors and never had a problem. I do it in a very saddle movement though. No jerking no nothing.. Maybe thats why.

  • Yeah, true it's possible, especially going smoothly, it depends on how the hinges are. Maybe it's mines are or look not so strong, thus I don't trust it. I preferred to risk once hanging from the frame above the doorway: the damage feels less important or can be postponed fixing...they made some worrying noise but held up

  • it definetely hits your lats in a different angle. I actually started doing these because I stay in hotels most of the year. Then I found out that close grip hits your upper part of forearms and your biceps like crazy. Now even I dont travel I alternate these with my regular pull ups. Life teaches you alot sometimes.

  • Ahah in hotels nice one...not your doors then, at the end of the day...you might have to change room and pay for damage in the bill if you crack them and they realize it (or they'll charge you first for special services room next time...careful) but you don't have the hassle to fix it. Plus the good hotels door hinges, especially fire proof, are really strong so...yes. Different angle I guess because the door keeps your body further back, that might be better also to train for muscle up I think

  • Actually no damage.. and i do it at home too.. I think when you test the door while doing it -which means going very slow- helps.

  • Hey I'm just wondering if you actually got any results doing pull ups on the door? Cause I live in an apartment and don't have space for pull up bar.

  • wuuuut

  • LOL!!! By any means!

  • lol

  • LOL! u a real clown man!!! Nice!

  • Lookin' hot RashB!!! also, you gotta give me ur new # cause the one i have is from back at CDL!!! x;p

  • yo kid- dats how we used to do dat shit back in the day son fa real!!

  • Dude you must have some strong door hinges at your place haha. I usually just run over to the nearest jungle gym and use that

  • Well no I have a pull-up bar, I was just showing people how to get it done without one. Jungle gym are perfect for working out actually. I smell a macked jungle gym physical fitness video in the works.

  • Ha ha....Rash as per usual!!!

  • dude you're a legend
