Couple questions. The tone sounds pretty nasty. Is that the recording or weak stock pickups? ie. the sustain dies out quickly and it sounds crackly. Also, do you like the guitar? Would you compare it to signature models like the Jem or PGM?
@typedeaf they just suck at reviews. you cant trust this guy to get even close to the real sound of any of the instruments he reviews. no exageration.
Tone is in the technique of the musician. You're so freakin' good the the sound of the guitar here is irrelevant. Your handling of the instrument is so amazing that it wouldn't matter what guitar you play. Best gear plus ordinary musicianship equals ordinary music. Ordinary gear plus excellent musicianship equals excellent music. Understand gear-hounds of the world?
Seems like nowadays you have to be a virtuoso shredder to own a nice Ibanez, otherwise what the the hell are you doing with a guitar like that?
