  • no mames bailan bien veergas!, mas la guera de la izquierda, ese wey se las ha de haber tirado jajaajajj

  • Milk is nature's perfect food - if you're not lactose intolerant or vegan.

  • what a dork!

  • what a dork!

  • Milkaholic here! I'm 46 and gotta have it with each meal (although I don't care for it as a standalone beverage). I get very upset when I go to a restaurant that used to sell milk but then quit. Soda pop gut rot needs to just go away. For cold drinks, all we need is water, juice, tea and milk!

This commercial is soooo cheesy - LOL

  • @rin3guy This is true. I don't drink milk at EVERY meal (such as with meat), but I rather dislike soda pop. Something else that rather upsets me is when I go to a restaurant and order milk, and they deliver it in a rather lukewarm state...

  • Bobby was on Shindig from 1964-1966. He was only about 21 or 22 years old in this clip.

  • God this is soo embarrassing! If they keep this up there going to throw up! LOL

  • sssuper :)) I love Milk...too much

  • choke on it

  • I wish I was as happy as those people when I drink milk, I'd probably need to put something illegal in it

  • to cool man..can you dig it..lolllllllllllll

  • The "integrated commerical" was an important part of sponsored TV shows during the '50s and '60s, 'lrd'. Most of them aired at the end of the show; several examples of the best-known ones are on YouTube: Andy Griffith, Danny Thomas and Bugs Bunny for Post cereals; "The Flintstones" for Winston cigarettes and Welch's Grape Juice/Jelly; Dale Robertson ["TALES OF WELLS FARGO"] for "Pall Mall"; Steve McQueen ["WANTED- DEAD OR ALIVE"] for "Viceroy", Dick Van Dyke for "Kent", and so on....

  • Probably 1965; as I've mentioned, the Amercian Dairy Association was one of "SHINDIG!"'s regular sponsors; this was one of their "integrated commercials" during the show...

  • I'm impressed; "integrated commercials" were ahead of their time, considering that was no TeVo, only 3 networks and the remote controls for the few sets that had them actually were "clickers". Even then, I guess people could get up to use the bathroom.

  • This commerciaL WAS FROM WELL BEFORE 1968, PROBABLY 1964 OR 1965.

  • Everybody knew who was every one else by then. The simplest times!

  • Bobby Sherman was....short..

  • One of the regular sponsors of "SHINDIG!" during its first season was the American Dairy Association, who usually promoted milk consumption during their ads on the show- because ADA were a "primary" sponsor, Bobby Sherman and some of the cast appeared in "integrated" spots for them during the show...including this one.

  • What?! The brunette doesn't get to drink the milk?!!

  • very cute

  • I agree.. That clip wants me to drink some milk and dnace like that...lol

  • Nah, it was a White Russian machine. That's the only thing that'll get me to dance like that.

  • Milk is pure fat... it's designed to fatten babies up, not grow healthy adults.

The USDA food pyramid, which was funded by the US Dairy Association, recommends 2-3 servings of dairy. But nutritionists say otherwise. Hmm..

  • HAHAHAHA drinking milk in public is so uncool now

  • he looks gay. you sure he wasn't drinking a cup of man-juice?

  • cool vid thanks

  • Bobby Sherman was one of my first teen idols. He was terrific!

  • oh, this proves Bobby Sherman is ancient, how old was he?

  • as you will be one day, God willing. Guess they've stopped teaching manners for sure.

  • "...all the groovy kids drink milk...darn!"

  • MMMhhh !!!!

    But where is Jean Dobel???

  • The brunette is actually Anita Mann (yes, that's her real name..lol) who went on to become a well known choreographer, working with among others, the Solid Gold Dancers.

  • Dude, how do you know for sure that's Anita Mann? She also did Hullabaloo and Shivaree..

  • Wow! I think that is Kathy Lee! And boy, did I have a crush on Bobby Sherman!

  • shindig was way off the air by 1968. I own this on vhs and this was one of their commericals from 1965! who said it was 1968? :)

  • Yes, this commercial premiered on 1/20/65 edition of Shindig.

  • totally fab!

  • THANK YOU! {Giggles}

  • The second girl drinking the milk sure does look like a very young Kathy Lee Gifford. lol
