@319PurpleHaze its the aftermarket pipe that gives it a better sound.looks is up to u.there's carbon, there's titanium or stainless steel finishing.up to u..
You have to get rid of the catalytic to actually hear the difference from stock to the tone the Yoshis produce. But you can tell slightly. I had the same problem with my R6. Plus the cat holds back so much throttle response. Open that sucker up and let it breathe.
yes and no the "catalytic" as he called it or " catalytic converter" as it is usually called is used to lower the carbon emissions produced by bikes (and almost all vehicles for that matter) although they are sometimes intergrated into the baffles.db killers. Hope this helpes
haha, good thing in PA u can still slip the guy doing inspection a 20 spot and he'll pass u no matter what!
I used to have a '95 M3 that should have never passed inspection... Drove that little racecar everywhere, no 10K fine here!
And my motorcycle has never even had a cat on it the entire time I've owned it... PA laws are just writing on paper, they don't actually enforce that stuff like they do in CA
The YOSHI pipes (Carbon/Stainless) systems give it a nice deep throaty sound...Stock you can hear anything..This bike went past me doing over @@@ and it sounded SO SWEET may i say ...
best color on the '08...i have a blue&silver '02...and if am gona trade-in that is the color am taking....but i hate the look of the stock mufflers on the '08 the old ones were much better looking...and nice slipons....i want louder sound from my bike...what do u recomend Slip on..or Full system...(Tsukigi or Brocks)?...thx
Throttle is a little crisper! Ease up a bit on the rear brake when they go on, as the weight difference is noticeable but doesn't take much to get used to. Took the baffles out on the weekend and it sounds much better. Loud Exhausts Save Lives!

Mother of jeez,
Lots of TONS of carbon and Nitric oxides and more particles emitted to the athmosphere more than necessary only for a bunch of dB's more...
DONT REMOVE STOCK CATALYZER!!!

Good point unless you live in Ca,Pa ect. Where you have state inspection and emmissions. In Pa its a 10K fine if you remove the Cat.
