@arianta619 Tigger wasn't in the original cast of either the book or the original films (disney) - what with the first one being the honey tree (1966).

Rabbit and Owl are major characters from the beginning, and Gopher appears in the awesome table scene (where Pooh's backside is used as a table because he's stuck in the door to rabbits house, whereafter gopher feeds him "butternut squash".

No idea who the blue bird is though, I only watched the first four films!!

@darkmatterii really? but tigger is one of the original dolls that the real life Christopher Robin had, I've read it from many source, rabbit, owl, gopher, and the blue bird are additional characters, they're not the characters based of the real dolls, but I doubt them as well haha

@arianta619 Suppose it depends on what you go for, but in terms of the cartoon - the first film certainly didn't have tigger. Now considering the books were written at a similar time, it's not too surprising that she made one of them a "joining the group" character! So the perception of tigger was probably in her mind from the beginning, but didn't feature until the second book!

Still have no idea who the blue bird is - only disney reference to a blue bird I can think of is Song of the South!!

For those of you wondering about Tigger and Gopher, remember this- Gopher would say he's "not in the book" and Tigger was added later. There's a whole movie called Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger Too where we're introduced to Tigger.

Sorry @Musicxisxlife15 I wasn't referring to this song, but in the animated features, gopher appeared to suggest ways of getting Pooh Bear unstuck from Rabbit's doorway. Maybe it was a beaver, but I always thought it was a gopher.
