I specifiy and use resin bound paving frequently and when it comes to resin bound paving, which when done right is second to none, I would recommend sticking with a professional company like these guys appear to be. I would steer clear of anyone trying to undercut unless they have been properly investigated - especially anyone offering a "garrentee".

Unsupported edges do last very well on low to untrafficked areas, particuarly as the flower bed will probably settle up to the edge.

Just wondering as you have not used any form of edging's on one side of the driveway and none on both sides of the paths just how long would you expect that to last and not break away, I would say not long. As for prices well on a driveway laying at a min of 20mm depth we would charge around £45m2 for resin bound permeable paving with a 5 year garrentee. And at your prices you should be able to afford to get you workers some gloves don’t you think.
