All this arguing... The Seahawks settled out of court after A&M sued and were given licensing rights to use the term. So, my fellow Seahawks fans, Paul Allen paid/pays them for it and the Seahawks organization is legally required to acknowledge it's A&M roots.

All this arguing... The Seahawks settled out of court after A&M sued and were given licensing rights to use the term. So, my fellow Seahawks fans, Paul Allen paid/pays them for it and the Seahawks organization is legally required to acknowledge it's A&M roots.

King Gill was always willing to step up and play for someone else. to this day Texas A&M and ONLY TEXAS A&M have been following this tradition. The crowd all does yells at the same time, and I believe Kyle field has a greater capacity than Quest field. if you disagree, then why didnt you sue the seahawks orginization when we first started using the phrase, which was in the mid 1980's, but instead, you guys waited untill we were good and got to the superbowl to sue?

the Seahawks, Bears, and Bills were all asked to stop using the phrase after the federal dilution tradmark act of 1995 gave A&M full marketing rights of the 12th man. The Bills and Bears agreed but the Seahawks did not respond, leading to the lawsuit. try looking into the history of the 12th man and see if the Ags are not the true 12th man

1923--12th Man was born in College Station, Texas...way before college football was as grand as it is today and marketing techniques were used for college sports. Seahawks fans are a joke to the phrase and football.
