Dear pissedoff, You sound like you missed the entire point of hip hop, much less music altogether. Hip hop started off as a way to bring peopke together, literally in the parks of Brooklyn. It was never a racial issue, so its sad and counter productive to call out eminems race, or to think that hip hop is merely the environment of Black males. it has always transcended race, as all races have played a huge role in our culture. I feel that Eminem does not fuck with the artist you mention
he never got the right recognition for his music.i remember we are winners they would not let it play it on the southern radio stations.as for m&m i hate that cracker.hes always fucking with people he know he can get away with.the bitch is a coward.he willnot fuck with rappers like wu tang mac ten corrupt jay z naz ghost face killer.m&m is a fucking punk who needs to go back to his trialer the want to be black mother fucker.hes a theif.his punk ass.

Curtis himself sounds bad ass, but this is a super lame version of this tune. With all the silly 80s keyboard sounds and sax... I feel like the bass player and the keyboard player are overplaying. Hiram and Curtis sound great though, and even Omar starts to sound silly at the very end. I guess that was just the times...
Curtis was serious about his music. He didn't do no grinnin or dippin.....he was relaying messages with an impact (if you were listening). A real poet, musician and preacher.
all they have to do is legalize all drugs for a few months and, the deficit would cease, lol, i dont care any way cause that don't affect poor people like me.

@3:50 Hiram Bullock is priceless, and "superfly!" Great take, great song, great show, what a band! & kids out there? You're not going to get those kind of grooves from digital. You need the organic drums, not machines. You need real jam sessions, not "garage band". We need a revolution!!! Now we have shows where people feel entitled to the status of "idol". With performers whimpering "just how much your comments mean to me...thank you judges" Pre packaged approval and contrived covers.
So they played this in Hangover 2? Great, now it's going to be flooded with dip-sh*ts who associate this song with a sh*tty hollywood comedy flick no-one will even remember in a decade.
@Barbadian2k8 Save it for your therapist. If your that upset about people hearing great music I can't imagine how mad your going to be you you find out when you find out your adopted, i'm railing your woman, and your real daddy is me.

@Incredible32 oh, sweetie,it's always gonna be deep! I only found Stevie Ray and Brazilians Elis Regina and Nara Leao after they died--but music is ours and forever! Listen, play, honor the music all the time and you too can be like Joao, all your life in the joy of it!

Curtis shall always remain as one of the best black artists ever for various reasons:
1. Owned all his recordings unlike many black artists of that time.
2. Was at the forefront of civil rights movement helping black people.
3. Preached peace and love between black and white even after his own poverty, deprived upbringing.
4. Produced, wrote, performed music and vocals of all his music.
An unbelievable phenomenon. Thank you God for allowing me to see him twice in London live. wow.
