  • RIP, Curtis and Hiram Bullock.

  • The best live music show ever...

  • Damn. This is good stuff.

    DAMN!

  • This is so dope it sounds like a soulful young jeezy song lol

  • The bass is just killing me

  • @VanishOxiActionMax Right? Delicious to my ears!

  • @silmalila I mean killing with its power and awesomeness!

  • Curtis is the man.

  • i heard this song in a game called narc,

back then i was 12 years young lol

back then i didnt know what real music was.

Glad i came across it again.

  • Dear pissedoff, You sound like you missed the entire point of hip hop, much less music altogether. Hip hop started off as a way to bring peopke together, literally in the parks of Brooklyn. It was never a racial issue, so its sad and counter productive to call out eminems race, or to think that hip hop is merely the environment of Black males. it has always transcended race, as all races have played a huge role in our culture. I feel that Eminem does not fuck with the artist you mention

  • @TheDharmavoid yeah..

  • @TheDharmavoid Damn straight.

  • he never got the right recognition for his music.i remember we are winners they would not let it play it on the southern radio stations.as for m&m i hate that cracker.hes always fucking with people he know he can get away with.the bitch is a coward.he willnot fuck with rappers like wu tang mac ten corrupt jay z naz ghost face killer.m&m is a fucking punk who needs to go back to his trialer the want to be black mother fucker.hes a theif.his punk ass.

  • 1 of my heroez

  • I'VE WRITTEN A (SUPER FLY) SCRIPT!! & A SHAFT script!! COME TO MY PAGE N CHECK OUT MY RECENT VIDEO I WANNA MAKE IT GO VIRAL SO HOLLYWOOD CAN SEE HOW A GOOD REMAKE CAN BE DONE!!!

  • Curtis himself sounds bad ass, but this is a super lame version of this tune. With all the silly 80s keyboard sounds and sax... I feel like the bass player and the keyboard player are overplaying. Hiram and Curtis sound great though, and even Omar starts to sound silly at the very end. I guess that was just the times...

  • yea im your nigger in the alley yea im pusherman

  • I am not surprised there is almost a million views these guys were feeling that music love it!

  • この絹の様な肌触りすら感じる,軽やかで美しい歌声は,カーティスならではの天性のものでしょう。

    「本物の実力見せる」とは彼の様な♪を披露する方だけの特権ですね。

    upされた方に感謝します。

    Miracle Voice!!!

  • Curtis was serious about his music. He didn't do no grinnin or dippin.....he was relaying messages with an impact (if you were listening). A real poet, musician and preacher.

  • I am that nigga in the alley. Maybe a good reason not to venture in da alley.

  • genius

  • Sizzling oozing funk. Turns my white soul to black. RIP brother Curtis.

  • thumbs up if you agree with Freshwaterkangaroo

we called each other nigger. too many tight ass whites wanna change it up so they don't feel so guilty they used it that way too, one of my uncles who was wesley snipes dark used to say if WE say it it fucks over whitey because it takes away their power to say it to us!

  • "I gotta' get mellow y'all..." :)

  • Want some coke, have some weed!

  • @3:50 Hiram Bullock is priceless, and "superfly!" Great take, great song, great show, what a band! & kids out there? You're not going to get those kind of grooves from digital. You need the organic drums, not machines. You need real jam sessions, not "garage band". We need a revolution!!! Now we have shows where people feel entitled to the status of "idol". With performers whimpering "just how much your comments mean to me...thank you judges" Pre packaged approval and contrived covers.

  • Hangover 2

  • Super Fly!!

  • Mostly Eminem.

  • @brentjatko121863 EVERBODY LISTEN TO THIS.... SAY IT AGAIN.... PLEASE...!!!HA

  • It looks weird when he swears.

  • So they played this in Hangover 2? Great, now it's going to be flooded with dip-sh*ts who associate this song with a sh*tty hollywood comedy flick no-one will even remember in a decade.

  • @Barbadian2k8 Save it for your therapist. If your that upset about people hearing great music I can't imagine how mad your going to be you you find out when you find out your adopted, i'm railing your woman, and your real daddy is me.

    Woopsie.

  • @TheBandoliersMusic I think we call that 'psychological projection' buddy, your life must suck.

  • Really? You're gonna comment with "Thumbs up if you knew about this before Hangover 2" on every single song they had in it? Stop posting shit that says thumbs up this if blah.

  • @FreshwaterKangaroo Is this a trick post? I want to give you a thumbs up, but am unsure if I should.

  • @volunteersofamerica1 Don't worry, you don't have to thumbs it up, I never aim to get thumbs ups anyways. I had no idea this was even a top comment :/ I don't like the "Top Comments" system because of all the thumbs up whores out there, so feel free to vote it down if you want :)

  • Thumbs up if you knew about this before Hangover 2

  • Thumbs up if Hangover 2 bought you here! what an amazing song

  • This Is where rap and R&B Came from... this is art of spoken word...

  • Ice-T "I'm Your Pusher", Spice 1 "Snitch Killas" and Eminem "I'm Shady" all have hooks inspired by this. Respect to the soul legends!

  • @fleshnbone187 and B.O.B

  • Hiram Bullock on Guitar behind the man???

  • @Dirtyrottensinner Yeah it's Hiram. A pretty badazz Hiram at that. R.I.P.

  • would it be crazy to attribute atleast a small part of the start of hip hop to him ?

  • @SpecTrey85 No not at all. For example ICE T I'm Your Pusher.

  • @SpecTrey85 No not at all. For example ICE T I'm Your Pusher.

  • Is that David Sanborn on Alto?

  • AH....it's good to see MUSICIANS!

  • @RnRanimal My sentiments, exactly. Nice choice. King Jimmy One and The Sixteen Eleven, what a good name for your next band.

  • Hasn't Kanye ripped this off yet? He should prolly scratch out a few checks to our boy here. Same wit Jigga-Z

  • i hurt for my generation because we lack the knowledge and appreciation for the artistry of some of music's golden ages

  • @Incredible32 oh, sweetie,it's always gonna be deep! I only found Stevie Ray and Brazilians Elis Regina and Nara Leao after they died--but music is ours and forever! Listen to Joao Gilberto just lately, never copped out, every time he plays it's more genius. I knew a bunchof dead ones in the 60's/70's, knew Charlie Parker...get it? Still hear them! Listen, play, honor the music all the time and you too can be like Joao, all your life in the joy of it!

Curtis Mayfield can be described as one of the greatest dynamic soul, gospel, r&b funk Maestros' of all time...His name can probably be found somewhere close to the word impeccable...His creatively demonstrated innovative musical geniuses has inspired many generations after him.. His name shall forever be remembered just as if music gave birth to him itself...

MrDarealmccoy86 paying respect and honor to the Great Curtis Mayfield...

  • When the UK news channel delivered of Mayfields untimely passing, a tear went down my cheek, I listened to his music way back and named my son after him, I have his Vinyl and Cd,s in my car and home, and always listen to compilations on my way to France. I have a neighbour, a French Farmer who stands outside and gives me the thumb up whenever he hears it. Curtis Mayfield a great individual....
