survivor man lasts 7 days with no camera crew...man vs wild has a camera crew there "not alone " and doesnt last 7 days....i like both shows alot though
We all agree. You are a retard troll who leaves stupid comments for everyone on youtube, yet you never once got off your ass and made a video yourself, you just watch others peoples work and bitch like a little girl. Does it makes you feel like a man coming on here and insulting everyone? Are you that big a loser? You are trash.
@GuyWhoWearsShirt What are you, the youtube troll? You leave stupid remarks all day long? Are you that desperate for attention? What the hell are you talking about? "doesn't matter if it is real or not?? My comment said good thing he had 50 candles laying around, why show us 50 candles when it is a set up? Do you have 50 candles in your house? Then what good is it? Why didn't he make a fire with household goods, like we would do in a REAL disaster? That is fake.
What was good about this guy is it was real, now he is setting up scenes and faking it like that Bear guy. This episode sucked, he filled a bathtub with water but no pots and pans? Lucky he had 50 candles laying around though.
lol people probably thing bear grill is in a real eviroment. hes way faker (see youtube for prove) this is just the real thing as in him going through what he claims he is. a simulated situation
@zkilla30 Why does everyone find that so revolting? he water comes out of your pipes and sits in the top filling bowl, it is the same water you get out of your sink. Until you flush, the water never comes into contact with anything. Even after you flush it is clean water that fills the bowl on the bottom, so unless you never clean it, the water is clean.
for a survival guide he was pretty careless with that candle close to his blanket, i wonder if he did that purposely to rise the dangers of what could happen.
Think of the ratio of people who live in populated areas compared to country areas who experience frequent hardship. This is about awareness of how city dwellers can be left fending for themselves. It ALL helps.
I don't see any problem with him faking the scenario, what? you wanted him to be send to a real disaster zone, oh yeah I heard they happen every day HAHA.....
@KohrsFM No need to be so hard on him. I think what he means is after seeing Les do his real stuff on Survivorman, this seems a little contrived or corny. I somewhat agree even if this information is highly valuable.
@KohrsFM Most people just show the solution. Les who is the best shows you how you can go make a bad situation into a good situation. I meen mankind use to do this all the time.
It is if your stuck on a roof top with bugger all to do!
The point i was making was more towards the fact you can find just about all your survival needs online and find any documentation you may need. From plant uses and identification to will writing templates!
You assume there will be a service provider still providing. I live on a hill in Florida and went through three hurricanes in six weeks losing electricity for a total of two weeks. I had a wireless connection but my service was also out. You have to be ready to survive without any modern conveniences. Of course, as a wild edible expert I had no food issues. Drinking water was the main issue.
Ok I can see I've hit a nerve here and that really wasn't my intentions and i apologise if i came across as insensitive..
Green Deane I've been a fan of yours for just over a month now :) Brilliant uploads many thanks!
All the information I know i've found over the past 2 years.
Regardless of the internet my laptop holds more information on survival than I could possibly digest in a year. So if I could hook it up to a car battery for example i think it really would be a survival tool.
No offense taken. I'd hate to be without my lap top too... the memory ain't what it used to be... I have learned in life, professionally, that the less dependant one is on technology the better off one is. Now I would not turn down a snowmobile in Alaska but I'd also make sure I could make snow shoes.
@McGuireInK how to charge a laptop WTF who in their right mind would be thinking about a laptop when theres a flood going on.Your life is more important than a laptop you need to think young brother before you talk.
@SaintMvP Thanks for the subtle put down but I thought my other posts possibily cleared up the confusion on this one. Let me just re-word this. My laptop contains more survival information than my brain. My interest in survival methods and woodlore has went from pretty much a standing start to 100mph in a very short time thanks to ....the internet. I freely admit I don't know it all hence the reason I'd miss my laptop if I was in a situation where I needed the information from it. Peace
Hahahaahahahahaha. Les is exaggerating so much. Some guy whose idol is Les Stroud is going to go nuts for saying Les Stroud overreacts in a flood

I couldn't agree more! We all need to learn to walk before we can ski-doo ;)
Very little is taught in schools regarding survival where I live(none at all when i was a kid), its a crime I feel.
I'd imagine there's been a hefty increase in demand for survival being taught in your local schools of recent years?
