Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems. It is the beginning of the bigger industry in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.
@h0lyRS This suit is different. It redistributes the load onto stronger parts of the body and is not designed to completely mimic a human's movements. So there are no strong rotary parts near the arms, therefore even if the suit did malfunction, his arms would not be broken. In real biomechatronic suits, each of the rotary part's range of motion is meant to match those of an average human, to ensure that no arms/legs are broken if the computer misinterprets the movements/signals.
I want one of those for landscape construction :O Those stone bricks are heavy.

i can already see what kind of accidents would happen using this in the future...
Example:
imagine someone carrying something really heavy up some stairs. All of a sudden the suit gives out. "Oh shit, the hydraulics is lea..." squash.

@h0lyRS No, it won't. I do not know how you can come to that conclusion but look at the design again. It's impossible for said scenario to occur.

wait... but the first version could lift 50 kilograms no sweat this new version has a slight problem lifting 15 kilograms
SakoresDark 2 years ago
If you listened, the second version was more specialized and lightweight for only
"back" lifting unlike the first version. Re watch it, and you will hear the mention that was made for the back lifting instead.
