i'm on ps3 and theres a quest thats glitched thats impossible to finish for me, its in solitude by making the amulets non quest items you talk to a lil girl then her mother but if you picked up an amulet off the guy that was being beheaded in solitude before talking to the girl, you cannot finish the quest

I payed what, 50/60 euro's for that game and now I'd like to know why a glitch like this can excist while doing 2 quests that pretty much involve the whole game? Stormcloaks/imperials and The elder scrolls. Bethesda reaaaaaaaally pisses on skyrim :( The ps3 version is just a rewrote pc version and because of that it's full of faults.. Burgh. I have 100+ hours logged on PS3 and have the exact same problem. Bethesda needs to get their shit together. I've tweeted them and emailed them asking when the new patch will come out, but haven't gotten a response yet. Can anyone confirm punching one of them solves the problem?

EVERYONE WITH PS3 AND X-BOX: Finish the "joining the legion" quest by killing the ice thing and then go back to the Jarl. He is having a conversation with the guy who gave you the mission and wont talk to you. But keep pressing X or A(ps3/x-box) fast over and over again. Then he will start talking to you.

@krisharma You CAN'T finish "joining the legion" Well..you can, but, it automatically goes into "The jagged crown" so.. you'd have to finish everything. It involves "Speak to Galmar" all the fucking time at first! SO: that's impossible 'cos he keeps babling on how amaaaaaaazing it is that you've convinced the Jarl. Fuck this shit :(

*FIX FOR PS3* (this is what i did and helped me that is)

go kill the ice wraith as the guy told u

then go back to the palace of kings

there u will see galmer and ulfric talking

spam x on ulfric then he'll say that he knows u from helgen

then say "yes, sir" when he asks you to join the stormcloaks (don't answer with u come with a different reason)

then he'll say talk to galmer

then spam x on ulfric once more then you will be able to talk to him about the peace treaty

Hey, I've got this bug too, but a possible fix just occurred to me. What if you go to Solitude and join the Empire instead? That should cause you to immediately fail the Stormcloaks quest, which will probably fix this deadlock condition and allow you to continue with the main Dragon quest storyline. Anybody want to try this out?

Got the exact same issue here, I'm stuck and there appears to be no way to advance either quest.  I wouldn't mind if it were a little side quest, but this is the main story line, and there's no way I'm restoring to a save from 5 hours ago, I may be done with Skyrim

I Joined the stormcloaks succesfully. But now for the main quest '' The fallen '' i have to talk to Ulfric stromcloak. When i clikc on ''A'' to talk with ulfric he says : '' Should'nt you be in Korvunjund proving galmar right , or proving him wrong.'' When i talk to galmar he says certain shit either. AND THERE IS NOT EVEN A QUEST TELLING ME TO GO TO KORVUNJUND!

Solution here: While Ulfric is having his talk with Galmar, you can walk uo to him and press E or X(ps3) multiple times. That works for some people. Thumbs up so everyone can see.

Ok people I just found a way to get passed this problem but note it will require you to rewind back to some old saved files. So basically what you need to do is after you fight the main skyrim dragon leader or as soon as u get the elders scroll and get out of that place, select the mission kill the ICE WRATH, go and kill it just go andd kill it after you done so go talk to galmar he will make u a stormclaok and thats that problem sorted and you can carry on with the main quest This is for PS360

i play it on 360, and i talked to Ulfric first and answered with 'yes sir'. After the conversation i could go and end the quest 'season unending', but not 'joining the stormcloaks'. But now i can continue the main quest. I don't know if my comment could help some of you, but i tried at least :p

Hey I had this on my xbox, all I did was wait for a coupke hours, then attempt to talk to ulfric. After a couple attempts I was able to talk to him. He said " your alive! Talk to galmar, after this, wait and hour then attempt again. Hope this works for you console guys.

@Frederikq8 you can write "setstage mq302 300" in the console, it will bring the quest to the "completed" stage. Open console by pressin the "|" button. The one to the left of your "1" button
