Tricking / XMA = mixture of acrobatic martial arts forms.

so technically free running is used in Parkour.

Thus they can be considered the same.

well if you look online there are actually some professional Parkour Instructors that do those how-to videos. There were a couple videos going over several flips. over obstacles and the video was titled as Parkour not Free Running. I mean Agree with you that they are different. But nowadays people do mislabel on which style is which.
