Sorry for trashing the vid but I don't really see the point of HD here. Drivetrains, suspensions are just a big black blob of shadow, the vehicles are too dark compared to the sunlit scenery. I think it's just not worth sepnding half a day editing it if you get this.. a simpler video would do just fine but with the interesting stuff visible, after all these are fascinatingly complex trucks. I know it'd be slow without 2x speed but we could see when guys switch gears and it'd seem more natural.
@Ghraladean You won't see much of the drivetrains or suspensions even in real life, because they're inside the trucks and I have no X-ray camera. Sure, I can make a video without accelerating, it will include some 90 minutes of trucks driving at snail's pace and nobody will watch it. And no, you won't see much more without accelerating, and it won't seem more natural - trust me, I've seen it prior to accelerating. It's not much different, except shorter. Sorry, I totally disagree.
@searme true, but it's worse if you're blinded by the sunlit background and can't see much of the trucks. Grass is cool in HD but at least it'd be good to see when trucks spin out, but even the wheels are in the dark sometimes. I guess you're right about the acceleration, but I still think filming and processing it in HD didn't add as much as it took in time for processing and editing. Is there a possibility to add some time counter so we can see how long it takes to complete the track?

@searme thank for the quick response (15 minutes) i asked that because when the white/blue colored 6x6 tipped over i saw a little bit of the mech and i just am not really great at making trial trucks and i dont have that much pieces to make them and im going through not having any motors cause they broke.
@searme I get the point , however I think that the real trucks are designed to have the highest power to weight possible and I think it would be much more exciting if these trucks were that way too.
@pagani8 If these trucks were that way, you could win by simply putting in more XL motors than others did. Instead of a race, we would have 'who has more XLs' competition. The way it is now, the number of motors matters little: but things such as suspension, stability or good driving matter a lot, just like in the real world.

@pagani8 For example, the URAL 5423 had only one XL motor for 3.5 kilos of weight; obviously to achieve the best power to weight ratio but also making it look slow even when sped up 4x... to me that just kind of defeats the point of a race :/ Anyway though, do however you want to, when sped up it still remains highly enjoyable to watch.
Thank you so much for uploading these trial videos. I really appreciate the hard work that goes into them and thoroughly enjoy watching them. They are the only way I can really fallow the lego truck trials because I am in Canada and there is not too much in the way of lego trials here....
@stipzao There was malfuncion of mechanism supporting reduction - I messed up something with bricks :) last touches where made at night 2 a.m. ... and you know ...
Mudguards ... well there is huge problem with independent suspension and hardness of shock absorbers, 3 hard springs for one wheel is not enough. Right now I have custom made springs which are much harder that lego "yellow" :) But I'm not sure this is allowed ... well we see :)
@Lyyar I wasn't talking about Your vehicle in particular but about that problem in general. I'm currently building a TrTr and I've made sure the wheels don't get blocked by the mudguards no matter what (I've blocked/reduced suspension travel to pay the cost). Anyways You guys have awesome trials and I wish I'll participate some day. :)
It seems like there is a point at which the amount of weight being added by adding a third or fourth axle is actually hurting some of these vehicles because of the limited traction offered by the tires you're using (i know there are only a limited number of tire choices available). This is just an observation though.

most of these trucks use 94mm wheels, amirite? maybe the video is a bit skewed, cuz some of the wheels look a bit narrower
