Lacey made a face at the end of the dance, and Lance just ignored her and played her by walking off on her silly butt. Lacey then tried hard to reel him back in holding his hand tightly.

Although I can understand why someone might think this is a Wade Robeson inspired piece, if you watch the video for Disturbia by Rihanna it seems that they were trying to pay tribute to that. The beginning is almost definitely from the video.

Also, SytycD became popular much easier since DwtS set a precedent and opened the world to "competitive ballroom dancing" TV shows. So, if anything, SytycD is borrowing off of DwtS (and AI).

PS: I love to watch both shows and apprechiate each for their own content.

To the people dissing DwtS: Get over yourself!

DwtS has been around for much longer than SytycD. Of course they'll do the same dances: its dancing! there's only so many poplular types to choose from. Also, song-wise, DwtS has included a few main stream songs in their programming since the first season, way before SytycD was even created.

TOTAL SYTYCD rip off of WADE ROBSON choreography.. its one thing to be inpsired by others and its another to use their material as your own original work. "Ramalama" was done Lacey... find your own choreography!!!!!!!!

i dont like how they are making the show SOOOO simila to sytycd, i mean....

-black mambo, hip hip chin chin, bleeding love, sytycd used those songs for awesome dances

-lacey, need i say more( SHE IS FREAKIN AWESOME THOUGH!)

-4 NEW DANCES(that arent part of the 10 traditional ballroom and latin dances)

-each of those dances were used on sytycd: w.c.swing, salsa, hustle(disco), jitterbug(lindy hop)

I think it also may be that they need a different tempo for the song to be easier to dance to and they need the song to be shorter so instead of them cutting the song they just have someone do a different version.

This was pretty good, I didn't think I would like it, but the Distrubia song fits Lance and Lacey's personality, even though I don't like that song, but they still did a a pretty traditional Tango, I think he is finally found the balance between the two.
