Sorry to see it go down. :( On mine all those little square pieces came loose on the rail mounts & had to be reglued. I'm glad I had them come loose on the ground now after seeing this. What HD cams where you using? I just use an 808 keychain cam.
in the final seconds of the slow-motion you can see the fuel tank came off, when it came off, it knocked off the missile and rail, they hung up on the outboard sidewinder missile. The aircraft was no longer symmetrical. that rail hung up on the wing was like an extra control surface. I was reducing power to land, and with the additional weight of the two cameras on board, every thing came together, the ground came up & got her. (and the battery I was borrowing to fly her)

Sorry about your FA18 a few years back I lost a Twin Turbine jet while doing a remote drop of the wing tanks.
