Elvis didnt even write his own music or innovate! He was sexy and of course had an amazing voice & NRG on stage! but thats all! MJ is THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ARTIST IN RECORDED HISTORY BECAUSE OF HIS CREATIVITY SOMETHING ELVIS (as cool as he is) LACKED and MJ's simply more musically popular. E was told what to sing by writers, dance moves mainly taken from other artists and not developed. I actually like Elvis a lot especially LIVE (OMG) but still due to MJs versatility/creativity u cant compare.

2Say Elvis was more successful/talented is laughable. as innovative? as versatile? a creative genius? he doesnt come close. MJ could perform amazingly since the age of 10 (probably before), changed popular music with HIS vision, innovated music videos, was one of the greatest dancers (admitted by ALL his peers) & one of the greatest voices (admitted by many greats) plus was creatively at the helm of his career since Off The Wall)..

I'm pushing 60 years old. I thought no one could surpass the Beatles. They were inovators & fantastic song writers but MJ is talented in so many areas. He is the king of entertainment. Elvis and the Beatles don't even come close. A true child prodigy. If he had lived, the best was yet to come. It's tragic he didn't survive his drug issues.

He has no drug issues. He had drug dependency during his painful burn incident but he had already the rehab. His death was not caused by drug addiction, he needed remedy for his accute insomnia caused by lupus which deepens anxiety and insomnia. His extensive rehearsals also contributed to this insomnia and feelings of anxiety.
