This sounds like Rachmaninoff playing it. I can see where the influence from this piece is. I also hear Chopin and Mozart. When I hear this played on electric guitar I hear Van Halen, and on Classical guitar I hear Latin rhythms. This piece truly has inspired a number of musical genres. Someone on another video said he (or she) thought the passage at 1:17 sounded like the Exorcist theme, and I'm sure Mike Oldfield got some ideas as well.
