@Wiredeclipse It's called putting your phone in field test mode. All you have to do is dial a certain string of characters into the phone, and then it displays the dB's in the top left hand corner. It's pretty nifty! Especially when trying to see what your signal strength is, and figure out why you may be dropping calls.
The iBooster will radiate a signal up to 2 feet in weak signal areas and about 3 feet when the outside signal is strong. The best option is to place your iPhone in the cradle and use a headset.
does it have to be in the dock to get the signal and data gains? or does it just boost signal in general meaning that you can remove the iphone from the dock and use it in your hand?
Nice product but why would you need it for the car?

How did you get that phone to display the -101db and -69 db? Is it an app or special setting?
