    MAC Slash Cut pipes

  • @90LXCoupe sorry if that comment seemed rediculous. i wasn't sure if you did anything to the pipes yourself :P

  • hey 90lxcoupe where did you find the rear fender? it looks great

  • It was on the bike when I got it. I have since swapped it out for a stock fender to give myself more clearance for 2 up riding.

  • ok....thanks for your answer....amazing bike.....greetings from venezuela

  • I've got the same bike, '84 xv1000, love it, thing moves like there's no tomorrow! Those Mac pipes sounds pretty good on yours!! I've got the Jardines on mine sound great too, too frikkin bad it's raining here all the time though!!

  • Ahh...noisy starter. My old '84 750 Virago had that problem.

  • Nice Virago i am thinking about buying an 87 1000 Virago and advice when buying it?

    Thanks

  • Make sure the starter isn't noisy and the fuel pump is strong.

  • It needs a carb cleaning and front brake work other then that it's clean they want $1000 it has 19K Miles on it.

    What do you think?

    Thanks

    John

  • It's an 84 not an 87 and i got it for $600 needs brake calipers and a carb cleaning.

I put a new Yusa battery in it.

I can't wait to go for a ride when it's ready.

  • nice.....

  • that sounds just like my own vx1000 when it was running

  • it sound good.....

  • Those pipes sound awesome. I have a 1980 gs750 and I was thinking about getting some. I wonder how they sound on a 750, though. I don't want a wimpy sound.
