This game is so difficult in later levels. After this part there is a bald arnie wannabe who is very fast and aggressive and later levels have soldiers shooting grenades, bullets and homing missiles from all directions.

I'd love to see someone complete this with, like, just 3 credits or something similar.

I completed this with about 15 credits

It's in the settings menu for the ROM. I use NeoRAGE as my emulator. You can access this menu by hitting F1 while running a game.
