It's composed by Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak famous composer duo, Anand Milind. Hats off to them for their mind-blowing title track of Karamchand.

This does not sound like the original release of the title track. I remember it quite well that the pace of the original release was 3x times faster. Correct me if I am wrong. By the way, thanks for putting this in. :)

JANVY2K...its a Wonder how you've rememberd these Retro shows aired decades ago on Doordarshan....Hats off to U...so these title track i m assuming u might have made an mp3 files after u had recorded them using VCR/tape then in the good old days. U presented the past so beautifully by creating a blog too, its really amazing, I believe U really LOVE the 80s since you were a child then...we all were...N i m just enjoyin' ur BLOG, but some videos are not showin up...hope you find time to update.

Thank you for the nice comments...yes i m really sorry that some videos dont show up, due to Copyright issues that keep happenin every now and then...I m tryin' get DVDs of these original sitcoms hope i am able to i need you guys to wish me luck:)...yeh i used to be a seasoned blogger but due to work sometime its hard to juggle...but i love bloggin and I am quite addicted to it, I will keep updatin on your favourite shows for sure...Please keep writing to me with your Feedbacks and Requests.

Yo thanks for posting this. Ive been looking for the title track for years w/o any success. Anand-Milind are brilliant. I didnt know they composed this. I always though Louis Banks, Loy Mendonsa, Ranjit Barrot and Karl Peters were the backing band. Tho I could be wrong. Can anyone confirm?

I cannot confirm this but I am 200% sure that it is Anand-Milind.

If there was one track I have been looking for on youtube or elsewhere, I have found it. But is this the complete version? I always thought it was longer.

Anand -Milind were favorite of Pankaj Parashar..( the director of Karamchand).. he used AM for his break-through film Jalwa... then he wanted them again for Chaalbaaz.. but due to preferences by the producers, went for Laxmikant-Pyarelal, who gave amazing music...
