Unfortunately, many people of the world are tricked by fake rapid growth of Chinese economy as a world factory. But China has changed nothing, even though they had succeeded Beijing Olympic.

Actually, Chinese people had a gut and a big chance to get democracy and freedom in 80s. But it failed at 天安門square in June 1989. After all, still many Chinese people are brainwashed and domesticated by their communist government in exchange for fake rapid growth of economy.

Tiananmen was not about democracy. Chinese people don't even know what Western style democracy is.

Tiananmen was about rising food prices, unemployment, and corruption.

Plus, China's growth is nothing to scoff at..... She has been the world's largest economy for the past 18 out of 20 centuries.

what Chinese 'presented' to Tibet

1. tried to wipe out all Tibets culture and language(even religion)

2. they built roads, rails and buildings to squeeze more efficiently

3. tortured Tibetans protesters to death. only about 5% of protesters who were arrested were survived
