i dont think its fair to say that becuase they show a new program that is why they get more reports i think its obvious they would as people would pay more attension to the sky than they usually would why should tha dissadvantage some ones credability.

this incident leaves some pretty unusal actions taken by the authorities -at first the incident was described as an aircrash by police and rescue services -this continued until the men in black came a calling -y? - cos of course no wreckage was ever found. As for the bollide theory -there is not a shred of hard evidence that this happened either - why has the goverment classified this incident? when it's a meteor-

Aside from the obligatory appearances of the Tweedledum and Tweedledee of British "UFO" research in the form of David Clarke and Andy Roberts and of course Mr Pope this is actually a pretty fascinating video. There have been 1000s of pilot sightings many involving ground observation & multiple radar hits & the Manchester case needs to be seen in that context and not as a stand alone event....as a side note even in clearly redacted documents like the MOD "UFO" files there is truth in the margins
