Looking forward to a HUGE tax deduction when Paul abolishes the IRS. In fact I'm thinking about stopping my 401k contributions to give to his campain. After all, if he wins, and the income tax system is abolished, money I save will be tax free anyway, plus it will be sound, where-as currently I'm not even convinced the Dollar will be solvent 40 years from now.

It's Regan's trickle-down theory all over again. He's hoping that tax cuts for the rich will translate into more jobs for the poor. It didn't work in the 80's and it won't work now.

For all his talk about freedom, he still wants to force people to have children. He's very strongly anti-choice. Under his regime, you'd have the "freedom" to pay child support for the next 18 years if your condom breaks.

He is AGAINST government regulating abortion... he is AGAINST all income tax, rich or poor.. he believes everyone has equal rights regardless of their social status, economic status, race or sexual preference. I was there at the speech yesterday. Ron Paul talked for half an hour extemporaneously without notes. Afterwards he was surrounded for autographs for a good half hour. Turnout could have been better, but still very healthy, and it's very very early.
