you guys are awesome .....very clear....i like it ....now it is a matter of practicing a little....i have a question that for some reason i am not being able to get an answer yet..what is the real difference between on2 and on1 patterns? when i go dancing i just try to pick the beat...any beat and then i start dancing following the "1 2 3 ...5 6 7 " counting...everything seems to be ok.....thank you .
Actually, they are not pauses in the music; dancers prefer to make a pause in the foot steps, but they (steps 4 & 8) are made with the hips although this is almost unnoticeable. However, many times steps 4 & 8 are marked, specially during shines and many of the "follower" moves do require these steps.

The girl seems to be of very high caliber moving with style&grace. The man seems to have great internal-energy and power with close-contact exchanges & moves that are similar to "Taiji". So this is the most hit salsa clip and understandably the most yin-internal-salsa dancer I've ever seen; I hope I can see more of his clip and patterns but can't find any. Hope that my comment with different perspective will be helpful to you and experienced dancers will understand what it means. Tao be w/U:)

to fat to be smooth, and that move is dumb, looks like he probably spent a lot of time trying to come up with something different, and came up with that. embarrassing!!
He may be a semi-descent dancer, but I've heard many girls complain about the fact that if they don't get things right, instead of just changing his lead, he gives them lessons on the floor which is embarressing. I've also seen him do it to one of my friends. Pros don't do that. They just adjust their lead and enjoy the music and the moment. If someone wants privates, they know where to find him.

This is supposed to be an intermediate/advanced pattern, so he expects people who want to learn it to pick it up just by watching and imitating.
Iran is an amazing dancer and has many intricate, interesting patterns. He definitely adds a lot to the San Diego salsa scene.
