It seems that towards the end of the video, u are using the cloth to wipe the dirt rather than the steam. The early part of the video you are using the steam to pre-clean the car then use the cloth to wipe off.

at the detail shop we use a pressure washer with a water heater or boiler that can heat up to 300 degrees. we get much more steam and pressure. can clean a greasy engine in 2 minutes with virtually no cleaner. a presoak with simple green only for the worst ones. also great for cleaning door jams and seals without soaking the interior.
I just don't see the big deal with this machine. It seems very loud and this car doesn't seem dirty just as cars in other videos I've seen using similar technology. I would like to see the system cleaning really dirty cars like I have to clean. I spoke with someone this afternoon who bought a system like this last winter, but he returned it because he couldn't clean mud, salt, and other buildup. Actually, he tried wiping while steaming a section with dried mud and he scratched the car paint!

The steam can't be that hot if you're pointing it at your hand? If it had any heat about it, it would burn the skin off your hand wouldn't it?

The sound is because the machine is being used with a power generator. It can bee seen at the beginning of the video.
If you plug the machine in normal electric power socket you do not have any noisy.
In regards to the mud, salt and buildup steam can clean it just it requires little bit more time and it can be of help the steam+water jet function.

you hafto consider that by steam not all the dirt will come out/oxidants you will need to wax and polish the car.
