Out of interest, do A.I. Players ever do barrel rolls? Or are they restricted by programming?

If so, then I'd like to see a video of you against A.I. Elite, without barrel rolls, just to see how much of a difference it makes to the gap. I don't doubt your ability at all, in fact I find it incredible, but I've always been curious about the A.I. system. Do it, For Science! And good luck too!

@Jezzfezz I don't ever recall seeing it, but I'm assured they do at times. And I've already done that, twice :) Have a look in the playlist - Chenghou Project, no barrel rolls and Close to the Sun.

Been doing time trial on anulpha pass like a noob on phantom :P. Ranked 327 without pilot assist because pilot assist over reacts some times........and throse you in the other wall.

Fair enough. I've been using Assegai for their thrust and handling for those damned corners. Loved Gotecki on Wip3out though.

@RedFlapBag Best thrust of the lot. Great for getting off the line first, quick exits from corners if you lose speed, and quick recovery from weapon hits. Plus, I like the way it handles :)

Maybe, but some luck is required to beat the Elite AI. Not a whole luck, unless I really suck at this game but some is there to help us beat the AI.

Have, and as much as it helped, it's still a struggle to the top D; But trying my best :3 Am enjoying the game a bit more, just wish I could unlock more of the skins for the vehicles faster ><

This game isn't ALL skill. There's definitely a luck factor. Against the AI, you can overcome that luck fairly easily with skill. It's still there though.

@TizOnly1 Yeah, probably poor wording on my part. What I'm trying to do here is to put aside the misconception among new players that luck plays a greater part than skill in beating the Elite AI. If that were true, then I would have definitely lost a few of these races. As you say, while luck may be involved at some level in helping or screwing you over, at the end of the day it's how skilful you are as a player that determines the outcome.

considering how many weapons he picks up and absorbs it is highly likely that he will get at least a few boosts. NOT LUCK :D

@ColdFIRE2k9 true, but aprox 1 every lap is just at the edge of luck imo ^^, i tend to absorb pretty much anything unless i can use it, if i get 1 speed boost in a race i'm happy xD, but still, props to uploader, especially on the barrels ;-)
