  • adorable boys. i'm glad he's okay.

  • ouch!!!! This is why you do't play near windows!

  • KID YOUR WON'T BE DEAD

    YOUR BE IN HEAVEN

  • i know what he meant but that kinda caught my attention at 1:24 when he said " i could hear the victim crying in the background so i wasn't expecting it to be a real serious cut." now... if you heard someone crying in the background wouldn't you assume that it was pretty serious???? especially a cut like that the kid had to be screaming... i know i would. but great episode!!!!

  • I think he was assuming that a seven-year-old would cry because of any cut, and that it wasn't serious because the child hadn't passed out.

  • When a trauma patient stops crying, it usually means they've stopped feeling pain. The absence of pain is a sign that the trauma has progressed to a more serious level.

Absence of crying also means he's losing consciousness. When people in shock caused from blood or fluid loss start losing consciousness, they can progress to decompensated shock. That's a condition where the body stops compensating for blood loss. Cardiac arrest, kidney failure and death follow decompensated shock.

  • lol i used to be like that, for some reason when it is more serious then it doesn't hurt that much

  • 7:08 "I had an RV in my right arm"

  • the way the older brother took charge of the situation is very admirable

  • RV hehehe so cute

  • wait how do they film the thing happening and even before it happens? Is it staged?

  • It's a re-enactment.

  • i feel SO sorry for this kid, but i know he was in god's hands.

  • doesn't that emergency response guy look like brad childers of the vikings

  • Kinda...lol...I've also noticed William Shatner kinda looks like what Carson Palmer of the Bengals will look like when he's 50. LOL

  • lol yea

  • Allgood2000 thanks so-ooo much for these Rescue 911 vids!! Haven't seen this great show in several years; it's not even on any cable networks anymore! I do wonder if you live in the Hampton Roads area of VA, as I've noticed the WTKR-3 logo (Norfolk CBS) on-screen in this video...I've been to VA several times myself (I'm in semi-eastern NC).

  • No, someone from that area of VA sent me this episode.

  • Heck yeah...we should tell them people on Discovery Health to put it back on the air (they used to show it at 6 at night eastern time I think)

  • I wasn't sure what time Discovery Health ran the show years ago, but it had been running on different networks after it left CBS. It was on Family Channel, then Odyssey (now Hallmark), and then Discovery Health before it simply vanished...this show definitely beats the commonplace tripe that permeates the airwaves now! ;-)

  • This particular episode was never repeated on other channels. It only aired on CBS, along with all the seventh season episodes.

  • Oh, I was talking about Rescue 911 in geberal not this particular episode. ;-)

  • Yup, me too. :)

  • why did she let them be there at that age... thats way to young...

  • HAHA RV

    = Retard

  • poor boy..

  • RV-LOL

  • lol, butt-wipe!!?! thats a little weird but funny!! cute boys (actors & actual boys)

  • well where is their little brother when all this happening?

  • im sorry about the towels...that is so 80slol

  • he said he had an RV in his arm... lol how cute !!

The same thing happend to me when I was about 7 or 8 years old.. I have the scars to prove it. and me and my sister were messing around, It was a cut very close to the artery in my wrist.

  • Most accidents happen when kids are unguarded.

  • "my brother's a buttwipe, but i like him a little better because he saved my life"

    LMAO

  • He called his brother a butt wipe lol

  • Ahh, the Beavis and Butthead generation.

  • gosh poor boy. shadowabliss it did sound like he said george. but i think it was like joey or something he said me and my friend listened to it.

  • I did too

  • who feel like that they are going to cry. :(

  • i do

  • dosent he mean IV when he sais RV

  • do you have to second ep after this one?

  • Yes

  • These kids are cute. "My brother is a buttwipe." LOL. A similar accident took place when I was three. I was running, and my arm accidentally went through a French door. I didn't slice the artery, but it was still a bad laceration. I gave the doctors hell when they were stitching me up too. :) I wasn't about to have the sadistic doctors who wouldn't allow my parents into the room put novocain into me, without kicking, howling, and fussing.

  • cause i had an "R.V." in it, so cute

  • lol, don't yah love kids.

  • yes arn't they adorable?

  • That's not a sorry excuse. She wasn't planning on making a habit of it, and they were only going to be home alone for 30 minutes.

  • you got that right!

  • omg...where were the guardians?! Poor kid...lucky he's ok! Tough lil guy :)

  • They said in the first part of the video that they had just moved there, and the mom hadn't found a babysitter yet.

  • where were the parents.

  • the narrorator guy is on the priceline negotioator commercials lol

  • He plays a funny part in American psycho 2

  • Kid didnt even cry..

  • Not to sound stupid, but are those round things (dictaphones, I guess) how they record the calls that come in? They always show them on this show.

  • Yes they are dictaphones. They record the call on a brown plastic tape... like the stuff thats in the casette tapes.

  • awsome videos wish the show would come back on tv

  • He nailed his artery man, thats some BADDDDDD luck =(

  • POVERO..

  • my god. Im glad he's ok

  • the boy makes the Dictaphone go round and round as he speaks to 911 to record the call.

  • Man he is very lucy he didn't bleed to death!

  • That must've been a nasty injury.

  • rotflmao my brothers a buttwipe but i like him now haha!

  • Good episode. I cut my hand on a broken window when I was around 4 or 5 years old. My entire hand was soaked with blood but strangely the cut wasn't so huge.

Best quote: "My brother's a buttwipe but I like him now..." LOL

  • My mom almost had to get help when I was 9 months old

    I stopped breathing

  • Great that it turned out in the end, but these lines made me chuckle:

"My life would have been alot sad"

"It felt kinda funny on my left 'cause I had an RV in it"

    :)

  • That poor little boy, and what an awesome kid the older brother is. He knew exactly what to do, with the towel, and calling for help.

  • Funny to last words he said

  • Right, that's it, I am getting safety glass installed in my windows and doors. That poor little boy, must have been terrible for both of them.

  • Did you watch the one from Episode 406 where a little girl was leaning back in her chair and fell through the window? It was worse, it cut a hole in her back and her mother could see her insides.

  • yes, that was horrifying. When my twin sister (icesim1) and I were about the same age exactly the same thing happened. She was swinging on one of the old high chairs and went sailing straight thru the glass door. Miraculously she was not cut up altho I recall Dad sitting up late that night picking glass out of her scalp. She got lucky.

  • I'm special........

  • No, you were a spaz for tipping your chair thru the glass, you just got lucky!!!

  • "My brother's a butt wipe but now I like him cause he saved my life" and "I would have had a grave that said RIP, and that's not good" TOO FUNNY!

  • My sister is a butt wipe. he he he he xoxox

  • omg this 1 is scary NEVER EVER PLAY ON THE BED! LOL

  • "my brother's a buttwipe" lol

  • i found it funny when he was talkin at the end he was sayin"my right arm felt weird and my left arm felt funny because it had an RV in it" it sounded so0o0o cute!

  • Can You Upload Two Episodes for me: One With Boy Accadentily Shot his brother with Gun, and Man Shot his daughter by accident.

  • The latter episode you refered to was not a father

shooting his daughter but a father shooting one of

    his son's friends.

  • I don't think there is one where a man shoots his daughter.

  • hi...where do you find these Rescue 911 clips? It brings back memories when i was little watching this show with my dad. Do you have the clip where the a little girl gets stabbed with a butter knife or something. I love watching these now since im older! I watch these daily on here. Keep the eposides coming!

  • I had some on tape from the show still aired on TV. I traded my episodes with other people who taped it get the episodes I didn't have. I'm still missing about 12 episodes or so. I put them my computer by hooking my VCR up to a USB capture device I found at Best Buy and capturing the video into an editing program.

  • do you have an episode where an old man on a tractor is attacked by bees that had built a hive on the side of his house?

  • Yes, but it's too long to go on youtube.

  • It's too long? What about that one where the guy is on a tractor and that bale of hey falls on the guy and breaks his spinal cord?

Was there ever one where a guy died from being shot in the head because he was in a gang?

  • There about 8 episodes of Rescue 911 I don't have, and the hay bail episode is one of them (that's from the same episode that has a burglar getting stuck in the chimney).

There was one where a guy was shot in the head and died. It was a drive-by. The people who shot him were gang members, but he was just a random person who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • lol bee attack.

  • Anyone else notice at the very end when he is skating he slips on the ice, and almost hits his head on the ice?? Luckily he landed on his rear-end!!

  • Wow, this was a great segment. Awesome kids, both of them! =)

  • "My brother's a buttwipe, but now I like him" LoL LoL

  • "R.I.P-- that's not good!"

  • he said he wasnt expecting it, he doesnt do anything diferent than if it was an adult

  • hey I recognized when he crashed through the window, Mr. allgood froze the frame to where it shows half of his body through the window.

  • I used to work in comms. A call taker should NEVER assume the bleeding is not severe!!! Not cool... He'd get fired if he worked with the services I have...

  • Well, it appears to me that he still knew not to take it lightly. He still told the child what to do to help his brother. He probably realized that he didn't really know what was going on since he wasn't there in person.
